With all the new albums out I thought she would fall a lot further so seeing her top 10 again is brill.

 

She defo has attracted interest and sales outside her core fans,with sales this week and next week golden should overtake kiss me once and all going well will also outsell Kylie Christmas in the coming weeks.

 

Even at this point and lots to go I would see the golden era a great success for her.

So good that she’s on course to outsell her last 2 albums and there are still further singles, promo and the tour to come - would love to see ‘Golden’ make Platinum - they have handled the campaign to perfection so far tbh.

Platinum feels pretty ambitious at this point, but BMG do seem to have things put in place to keep the era going. Kiss Me Once felt like it was put out just so that Kylie could go on tour again, whereas that hasn't felt like it's been the case with this album. I suppose if they can get a new Rick Astley album to Platinum, it should be in reach for Kylie. Just seems too early to tell at the moment.

Platinum is probably out of reach, but the album eventually hitting 200k might actually be dooable. Hopefully the promo this Friday can push for another week in the top 10 next Friday.

A re-issue with concert is probably an Xmas cert so will get another 20k sales probably.

Currently #10 with 3.5k. The DMAs at #9 will probs drop behind but Dua Lipa isn't too far behind and Nines might have a fair bit of streams missing. So might be touch and go whether she stays Top 10 but it's only going to be another small drop nonetheless.

I didn't even think of a rerelease! BMG have done everything right so far, I'm sure they have a plan to keep it selling in the long-run. I can't believe how well it's holding up, especially the past week or two where there hasn't really been any UK promo

Sadly not, her US promo seems to have had zero impact on Dancing or Golden. Neither made the iTunes Top 100 during her visit (Also both versions of the album are way outside the Amazon Top 100) and the album which chatted at #64 before she arrived dropped out of the Billboard chart. Really disappointed but as I’ve said in other threads Late Night With Seth, Build and GMA are not big enough to have an impact but I thought her JC slot might have done something.

It's not even propelled her into the top 1,500. :( You only need about 600 copies to make the top 200.

 

Ah well, at least she tried.

Total loss making trip - her hotel in NY was $1,500 per night alone, still it would have been a worthy investment had it propelled the album up the charts. Just disappointing JC had literally zero impact.

Apparently she got paid £175,000 for her White Party performance slot, so I guess all is not lost.
