f***ing raging, was searching on Ticketmaster within legit 5 seconds of tickets being released and they were gone :/ I really hope they add Cardiff or also play the O2 in Bristol or something, gutted.

Funnily enough there are enough tickets left to be sold on stubhub for £180 but not for actual fans to get tickets at 5 seconds past 9...

Same, absolutely gutted, I've loved Paramore for years and would've loved to see them live. I was there at 9:00 on the dot (actually a few minutes before, watching the countdown/ refreshing etc, had Seetickets, Ents24 and Ticketmaster open, it got to 9:00 so I selected tickets, clicked continue and at 9:01 it said they were all gone.

There's a subreddit on this, apparently a lot of people had a similar experience: https://www.reddit.com/r/Paramore/comments/...out_in_seconds/

Not impressed at how fast they went, I bet there were bots set up. Seeing as they did go so quickly though, maybe there'll be more dates? Can only hope, will make sure I look out for band updates and get in on the presale next time.

If it really is bots (probably is, nothing usually sells out in seconds, I expected it to be popular but I was still expecting a 10 minute - 30 minute window at least), reading this is heartbreaking:

I've just called Coulson Hall & apparently they're quite aware of the bots that get tickets and now only admit people with photo ID matching the ticket name - good on them!

Cool! But it doesn't really help everyone that doesn't have a ticket because the bots got them. Gonna be an empty show

Very much so :( sad for Paramore but this might be a big kick for ticket sites to try and get some action in place! I know Josh Franceschi of You Me At Six has even been to the Houses of Parliament to talk about it.

Yeah I thought that about the bots, they're essentially wasted tickets? :/ It made me so mad, people so blindly desperate for a bit of a money they snatch tickets from fans who've waited years. Hopefully they do Cardiff at least or the O2, I think that has slightly less a capacity than the colston hall though (by about 150 but still). Or another date at the colston hall or even like Exeter or something (ideally plymouth but we get NOBODY good and that's really reaching.

Fair enough if they actually did sell out that quick, we ust weren't fast enough, but there are countless tickets on the tout sites so it seems like SO many have gone from that. I was there hen it was still 9:00 and it said searching for tickets, so it is so heartbreaking :/

We're getting a new track tomorrow!!! It's called 'Told You So' and apparently is being premiered at 5.30pm on Beats1 (?)
I am LOVING this new wave ish sound, it really suits them, makes for a change and some absolute bops *.* It still has their feel to it but it's moving on as well, as much as they were always fab an act can't be the same for their whole career really.

I like it, I like the song, but I disagree, I don't think the sound 'fits' them, so to speak, it seems to me that Hayley's voice and the instrumental, while both great on their own, don't meld that well together, it's too subdued for her tone. Props for them for experimenting but I don't think they're playing their strongest suit here.

I mean, Hard Times feels pretty momentous now so it might just be me getting off to a slow start but this one feels not quite as good as that one.

This is kinda my problem with their sound this era. If it was by another, more suitable act then I'd see no reason why I wouldn't enjoy it but, when it comes to Paramore, I expect something with a bit more grit to match Hayley's voice. This current sound is just not what I want from them. Of course, any musical act needs to develop, but they shouldn't lose sight of what made them so special to begin with.

After hearing 'Told You So', finally, I am in agreeance with both of you (it's kind of the same issue I have with Linkin Park's most recent stuff - if I ignore that it's Linkin Park it's fine, but then I remember it is LP and end up feeling disappointed again). Hayley, to me at least, sounds like she's struggling to keep up with the songs at times and I find it really jarring and off putting. :(
Told You So is even better than Hard Times! I disagree with the above, I think Hayley's vocals lend themselves very well to this Blondie-esque sound and I'm quite happy they've shown they can do another sound outside of pop-punk rock and pull it off well. Kinda what Avril Lavigne should've done a while ago lmao.
