#51 on Spotify so doubtful it will make it this week. Next week is way more likely I think.

 

Fleur isn't even close to flopping yet, the campaign has barely started.

Would be a great shame if Craig David missed the top 10... its done fantastic anyway and I can't wait for more new music from him!

I remember Greg James saying on the chart show the other week that he's expecting Craig to "do a Bieber" this year. I will admit, I never dreamed a Craig David single would do this well in 2016 so who knows?

It depends on what he releases really. If he releases another song like WTBD it could go top 10 and more.

He's reportedly working with Chase & Status and Diplo, who each have form when it comes to chart music. Definite potential there.

Also he shouldn't do a next single a 'When the Beat Drops Out'-a-like, people won't buy into it. The other thing is whether they should push 'When the Beat Drops Out' more and try to turn it into a huge hit - or let it live its lengthy top-20 life and then push the next single. I'm leaning towards the latter.

Well I'm on the Elle love train as I find the song very catchy but I can totally understand why she/the song will get a fair share of hate (ie not most people's cup of tea singing wise) I'm glad it's outdoing my expectations though and will hopefully along with 'Stitches' provide some variation to all the usual chart sounding tracks!

Definitely a mistake. I often call it that sometimes accidentally :lol:

I do like Craig David, but I fail to see anything even remotely appealing in 'When the Bassline Drops'. It just feels so empty to me, and the Big Narstie part is godawful.
