Gimme The Light, the breakthrough single from Sean Paul, departs next. This was actually first released in the Summer of 2002 and subsequently blew up in clubs and on underground radio. This led to it's re-release at the start of 2003 and an impressive #5 peak. Looking back, it doesn't especially sound like a chart hit, but this was in the midst of urban sounding records being 'en vogue' and Dancehall was about to have a huge commercial year. I love this song anyway - it has a cool Hip Hop influence and works to this day as a song to play at the start of a club night.
