We may be slightly more flexible where countries have put in genuine effort into attempting to vote.If the deadline is extended before it has passed and a country fails to vote in accordance with the ORIGINAL deadline then a reduced penalty will be applied of 15%.If a deadline is extended after it has passed, then anyone voting after the deadline will be subject to a one contest ban. And that is it! These 6 countries have failed to vote before the deadline and therefore those competing in the final will receive a deduction of at least 15% dependent on whether they late vote or not all. (I don't know why I felt a need to point this out) At least no downdubs, heh. Other thoughts.. Iz said he wanted to have my song vetoed, also I kinda hate that I recycled an artist so I think I'm gonna try to make more of an effort to be really inspired from now on! I'll *try* not to recycle again unless it's a song I really really want to send (this song was) because it makes me feel dirty. And hopefully no more artists with a ton of blog coverage etc :lol: This doesn't mean all the songs from now on will be weird (some of them will :kink:), they'll just hopefully be less well known. (feel free to use this post against me should I be a bit cheap again in future lolol)

It has to have been a year (at minimum) since they were last entered 2. If possible send something from a different EP or album than the previous entry, ofc this is just me and these aren't actually a thing :lol:. Allie X was entered initially a year ago, so although you've send a song from the same body of work that Tumour came from, you sent it a decent amount of time after she last popped up in the contest, so don't feel 'dirty' ;) This month is the first time I've recycled and tbh I think I always new that Tonight Alive would be an artist that I'd send but I was actually going to wait until either the March or April contest as they'd have a whole new album by then, I think The Ocean was sent in 2014 (possibly 2013?), So I was like okay it's been at least two years, they have a really awesome new song, it is time :lol:

I think this is my third time recycling in my seven years in this, the other ones were years ago and I didn't really have a very good grasp back then as to what to send :lol: And this time I was sure Allie X hadn't been entered because I thought I checked the thread with the list of songs and didn't see her! But apparently I hadn't because when I double-checked the thread days later, her name popped up and I was a bit disappointed, haha.
