Light It Up is fantastic but Be Together is better for me.

Radio 1 stopped playing clips from the album chart last year, if we're extremely lucky they'll mention every album in the top 5 but not always.

Aww, they missed out on top 5 in the end (I think Radio 1 usually shows a brief clip of a song from the top 5 albums). Still, comfortably top 10 with higher 1st week sales than Bloodsports is still pretty good going. Yay capitalism.

they haven't done that since the move to Friday. usually they give a mention of what is at #1 and that's it.

David Bowie has TWELVE albums in the top 40! Wow!

Aww, they missed out on top 5 in the end (I think Radio 1 usually shows a brief clip of a song from the top 5 albums). Still, comfortably top 10 with higher 1st week sales than Bloodsports is still pretty good going. Yay capitalism.

I may have written one or two words about them this week :P

Biography

Justin Drew Bieber (/ˈbiːbər/; born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Bieber's current manager, Scooter Braun, first discovered him through his YouTube videos in 2007. Braun, as noted, was impressed with the videos resulting in contacting Bieber's mother, Patricia Mallette, about wanting to work with his musical abilities. Moreover, him having convinced his mother, Braun arranged for Bieber to meet with singer-songwriter, Usher, in Atlanta, Georgia. As a result, Bieber was signed to RBMG, a record label based in Atlanta, then to Island Records -- part of Def Jam Records -- with a recording contract offered by a prominent record executive, L.A. Reid.

He released his debut EP, My World, in November 2009. It has been certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber released his first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, in March 2010. It debuted at or near number one in several countries and was certified platinum in the United States. It was preceded by the single, "Baby", which is also, as of July 2014, the YouTube video with the most dislikes, and the most views on a Vevo platform. He followed up the release of his debut album with his first headlining tour, the My World Tour, the remix album titled, My Worlds Acoustic, and Never Say Never – The Remixes, and the 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. Bieber released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe, in November 2011 when it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Bieber released his third studio album, Believe, in June 2012.

He has received numerous industry awards, including both Artist of the Year Awards at the 2010 American Music Awards, and the 2012 American Music Awards. He has been nominated for Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. With his growing national and international fan base, they have been dubbed "beliebers" who largely consist of early to mid-adolescent women. He has millions of "followers" on Twitter and other social media accounts. He has been listed three times by Forbes magazine as one of the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world in 2011, 2012, and 2013. - Wikipedia

Albums top 40: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/albums

Half of Top 10 Albums are David Bowie Albums. Great stuff!

So sick of this song now.

Finally out of the top 7!

What Do You Mean? is still decent though.

It's OK, in fact I've posted the link above your post :heehee:

Oops, I missed it!

'What Do You Mean' finally leaving the top 7!! (and the top 10 altogether next week maybe)

If 'What Do You Mean' can run through positions 9 and 10, it will be the first ever song to have scaled every position in the top 10. :o

Sorry > What Do You Mean > Love Yourself

#6 is great for Suede, outselling their previous album too :D

2x Platinum real soon

Congrats Bieber

WDYM? finally leaving :drama: :w00t:

I believe What Do You Mean? now has the longest top 10 run since the 1950's.

This is such a great mash-up

The Girl Is Mine is fantastic! I'm glad it's done so well.

(Still playing the bad version :drama:)
