March 21, 20169 yr Omg she really has no star-quality at all! Yep! That absolutely affirms it. I actually like the song now though. It really makes me feel like I'm back in 2001/2002 and those were good days.
March 21, 20169 yr She looks so awkward in that video haha!!! I absolutely hated this song when I first heard it, but it has grown on me slightly now. I wouldn't say I was a fan of it, but I wouldn't change the radio station if it came on either.
March 22, 20169 yr She really shouldn't try as hard as she does to look "sexy". It comes off as desperate and isn't very flattering. Bless her. The song is an absolute bop and a half though. My fave of hers, easily. 01. 'No' --- 02. 'Like I'm Gonna Lose You' 03. 'Dear Future Husband' --- 04. 'Lips Are Movin'' --- 05. 'Marvin Gaye' 06. 'All About The Bass'
March 22, 20169 yr That video is dreadful. It's easily the worst video she's ever done and it doesn't really fit the song, the choreography is incredibly weak as well as being incredibly out of sync. I echo Liam's comment, she has no star quality which is a massive shame because I'm actually a fan of her music.
March 22, 20169 yr I mean the star quality comments are bs... She is full of star quality. The video is v. Jessica Simpson 'Irresistible' which makes sense because the songs sounds right out of that era!
March 22, 20169 yr I really tried with this, because so many said it';s a lot less unpopular than her other singles, but it's just not happening. And oh dear at the video.
March 22, 20169 yr I mean the star quality comments are bs... She is full of star quality. The video isn't very good evidence of her having it if she does!
March 22, 20169 yr For some reason I find her so unlikable. I can't believe this is doing so well on US iTunes.
March 22, 20169 yr Song is quite catchy in placesbut on the whole not brilliant enough for me to want to go back to I think.
March 22, 20169 yr The video isn't very good evidence of her having it if she does! My eyes don't look anywhere but at her in the video.
March 22, 20169 yr After hating 'Dear Future Husband' and 'Marvin Gaye' I'm surprised at how much I'm liking this! :o I think what does it for me is the throwback early 00s feeling of it. Just so irresistibly catchy as well!
March 22, 20169 yr It was fun watching the minimalistic choreography but I agree that this isn't really the vibe the song gives. Her with the red outfit and lipstick and the wind in her hair tho, that combination SCREAMS something that would come from the early 2000's.
March 22, 20169 yr My eyes don't look anywhere but at her in the video. But is that because of her awkwardness (and dare I say it haplessness)?
March 22, 20169 yr Yeah, she just doesn't have any star quality  And I'm sorry to say it, and I kind of expect to get hate for this so I apologise in a way, but I think it comes down to the fact she's not good looking, and so she looks quite awkward when she's trying to do sexy or seductive or sassy, it's all a bit cringy. The song it still yet to make it past 'good' for me aswell.
March 22, 20169 yr She does look like she won a competition to star in your own music video or something... However, that doesn't take away from how AMAZING the song is.
March 22, 20169 yr yeah, that video and her presence in it is tragic how on earth is she at all successful?
March 23, 20169 yr I'm sorry but this thread is f*cking disgusting. It's one thing to have an opinion but some of the comments are completely unnecessary. Coming for her looks? What does that have to do with the video? Disgraceful. Maybe the fact that she doesn't have this said 'star quality' is what makes her so successful. She doesn't have an entitled, superior look plastered on. She's accessible, she's not perfect. She's one of the 'thicker' pop girls and that, I believe, is the key to driving her success. On a forum where the majority of you would have claimed to be feminists, are you really going to be bitchy enough to bring down the girl who will have been forced by her label to act a little sexier, in a pop climate where sex sells and she's forced to compete with the Fifth Harmony's and Selena Gomez's flashing their perfectly svelte, toned figures?! And good on her for even trying! For the record, she spends the majority of the video covered in a full-length trench coat with a little cleavage showing. The rest is hair flicks & choreography. I just can't fathom the hate for that video. I'm not sure where this 'forced sexy' thing has come from? She looks like a popstar making a pop video.. Could it be that she was uncomfortable acting that way and that's why it's come across? Personally, I don't see it. I see a perfectly crafted pop video and it's quite refreshing to see a popstar delivering a good music video without being half naked.
