(Let's not even talk about eh, eh !!)

Worried for Judas.

I'm worried about it being STILL IN

Americano is dreadful. I am sad to lose Til It Happens To You though, it's beautiful and emotional and I feel it could relate to many other situations and not just the one it was written about.

I'm actually quite pleased that "Americano" is so high! I've been loving it ever since I saw Puss' origin movie, and I was expecting the worst.

25. Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) 7.2727

26. Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) 7.2609

And here is the highest peakest song from Cheek to Cheek! :D At #26 is Gaga's rendition of Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) which she also performed on the ArtRAVE tour. I have to admit, this is really the only track on Cheek to Cheek I go back to.

Next is Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say), which was released as the third single in some countries and didn't have huge chart success. This song is quite well known for not being "typically Gaga", but obviously Buzzjack seemed to like it as it made #25! Personally this one is my favourite single from the Fame era, but what do you guys all think? :o

Let's say goodbye to another album...

6. CHEEK TO CHEEK 5.4722

I mean I don't think any of us will be particularly surprised this came low :kink: Of course Cheek to Cheek is Gaga's collaborative jazz album with Tony Bennett and features tracks such as "Anything Goes" and "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)". Whilst being certified Gold in the US, and silver in the UK this clearly isn't v. popular with most of Buzzjack, as it received an average score of 5.47!

Yup!!

Although it made the line disco stick ikonek.

Cherry cherry boom boom song. Omg - that lyric!! :o

'Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)' is a total cheesefest but I can't help but like it. 'Cheek to Cheek' was actually a pleasant surprise for me! I only listened to it in full for the first time in preparation for my rate and I really enjoyed it, would love to go back to it in future.

I've never been huge on 'Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)'. It's a lil bit filler really. Although the video for it is really cute!

'Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)' is easily the 'Cheek to Cheek' highlight for me too, Lotti. It's always been such a great song and those vocals absolutely smash it. She oozes that old school glamour.

I think i've listened to Cheek to Check ~once in its entirety. Really not my thing but good on her for following her heart with it (just no more please :kink:).

'Eh Eh' is super cute ~

Eh Eh is simply awful. I'd actually be embarrassed to play it in front of anyone I know.

Or Venus.

Cringe!

Always liked "Eh, Eh", such a nice and fun summery song, although it doesn't compare to the other singles from that era, but miles better than some of her later stuff, such as "You And I" & "G.U.Y.", or even half the filler on Artpop.

I'll tell them my religion's you

23. Bloody Mary 7.3871

24. Government Hooker 7.3065

Two 'Born This Way' tracks fall now. The first, Government Hooker was produced by Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow uses the relationship of Marilyn Munroe and J F Kennedy to explore female empowerment and identity. It's an incredibly fun, raucous song with an electronic beat and crazed lyrics of sexual release. The song was first played on the runway during a Thierry Mugler fashion show before the album had been released and I can remember being SO excited for it in studio form, and lo and behold it did not disappoint. It was the second song at the BTW Ball and really got the party started there.

Next up we have what I think is quite divisive - the haunted melodic trance-like song that is Bloody Mary. When the album first leaked, there was a furore of excitement around this song - many fans hailed it as the album highlight and saw it as a brilliant change of pace for Gaga. I was never really convinced and it remained just a ~good~ album track. I still maintain that it is - the haunting chants throughout it are fantastic and the general feel of it is very eery and well done. It's described as a "spooky rave ballad" which I think sums it up perfectly ~
