I remember that day, that was the most exciting relegation battle I've ever seen. There were about 4 or 5 teams in it on the last day if I remember correctly and two of the relegation places still hadn't yet been filled before the last match.

Fans still wont want Van Gaal to stay because really our goal should be to at least challenge for the league title and we were out of it before Christmas, top 4 is just a minimum. The style of play from the team under Louis Van Gaal is something that fans are not happy with either.

I know that, but it's the irony that the majority of Man Utd fans want Mourinho to come in, which is just hilarious

Last ever match at Upton Park tomorrow night... :(

I'll be there and I'm sure I'll be crying. My first match there was in 2003 as a seven year old (a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa) and been a season ticket holder since 2012 despite living in Bristol. Not quite sunk in yet.

What better way to end 112 historic years than with a loss eh? :magic:

How things turn. Van Gaal could get Top 4 and the FA Cup, would Utd fans be happy? Can see him staying another year if that happens.

Can't see West Ham losing their last game at home though...

I'd say no given that the season ticket renewal deadline has been pushed back to June and I've managed to get a season ticket for next year in a fairly decent spot with no much bother.

It would be fitting to end our time at the Boleyn doing what we do best and ruining United's season.
Apparently Manchester United's team bus has been attacked by West Ham fans so kick off for tonight's match has been delayed.
Gonna be a late one for the fans then, shame some idiots have to put a dampener on things but I hope the game is a cracker.
They're trying to intimidate and throw the players off their game but hopefully that wont work tonight.

Great game of football but crap result. You can trust Martin Tyler to have an orgasm when West Ham score the winning goal.

Top 4 gone but I knew this weeks ago. It's all about the FA Cup final now!

A thrilling game at Upton Park. Now the time for Van Gaal to go?. Looking at tonight's performance it could be worth an punt each-way at West Ham for the title next season.
West Ham wont win the league next season, the only reason that they played with that much intensity tonight is because it's their last match at Upton Park.

Does that also explain why we're a point behind you?

It could be worth the 66/1 odds with Coral for next season for West Ham to win it if they keep improving then there is no reason why they couldn't make a challenge for the title.

Well they're going to be spending some serious money (no surprise with a free stadium!!!) thanks to their owners mouthing off to the media. Interested to see who they will buy. Certainly they're an attractive opposition now. Think they might struggle with the transition to a soulless stadium for a while, like Arsenal did.

"Behind" being the key word. It's been one of our shittest seasons in the past 20 odd years and you're still not in front of us.

The video from inside Man Utd's team bus yesterday whilst it was being attacked by West Ham fans:
