I'd have liked to have seen Break the Ice sneak into the top 10, but #14 is respectable for the least known/successful of the Blackout singles.

I love the video, I know people like to see actual Britney dancing etc , but we have plenty of them, so this was a nice change, it was so well executed.

Break the Ice is just on another level for me. I just can't even deal........
 Wonderful song, not sure what there is to dislike about it! *.* Blackout Britney was everything.

MISS KERI BAYBEEE!!!! 'Break The Ice' is stellar, but 'Blackout' as a whole is sooooo...

Still adore 'Hold It Against Me' too. Really under appreciated from the 'Femme Fatale' singles I think. The others seem to get more appreciation and WHAT THE!? at the video hate! It's amaze. <3

BTMYH deserved top5 placing, its gorgeous <3

BTI should be lower. I only listen to the remix these days

At #13 we say goodbye to the 'Britney Jean' era, which makes this the first to lose all it's singles, and considering there was only 2 singles and the other one dropped at #31, this one has lasted quite well. 'Work Bitch', released in September 2013 as the lead single from her 8th album. Another one that has polarized the voters, while gaining a lot of high scores, consisting of 1 11, 15 10's, 9 9's & 6 8's, there were also quite a few lower rates as well, and it was quite a close battle between this and 'BTI', and only managing to beat that by 0.5 points, so very, very close indeed. When it was announced that her new album would be her most personal, and then releasing this as the first single, well... while this is a decent track, that's about her work ethic and at the end of the day this isn't very personal at all. The song itself though is pretty awesome and was the clear right choice for the lead single with it's aggressive EDM beat and unapologetic club banger, that definitely makes it stand out amongst the crowd. But the dominatrix aspect isn't entirely convincing as I don't find her vocals commanding enough to pull it off and just comes across as anything but personal. While it is an interesting sound for her, I don't think that this is the route for her to go down with future releases. As for the album itself, it's not very good at all, apart from a handful of decent songs on there, it's Will.I.Am's production and constant use of auto tune that really lets the whole project fall flat, and coming from what's supposed to be her most personal album yet, it just doesn't come across that way to me at all and comes across as very vague and not relatable to anyone else bar herself. Upon release the song performed quite well by making a strong #12 debut on the US Top 100, but failed to climb any higher and makes this her first era since her 3rd album, not to score any top 10 hits. In the UK it peaked at #7, becoming her 22nd top 10 hit, but sank down the charts very quickly and only lasted 3 weeks on the top 75. Elsewhere it managed top 10 peaks in South Korea, Canada, France, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Finland & Lebanon, while hitting top 20 peaks in 6 other countries, then finally top 40 peaks in 8 other countries.

Work Bitch is generic as f*** and I shouldn't love it as much as I do. But I find it's somehow aged really well (I know it's still fairly recent). It's still the most played Britney song when I go out clubbing. In fact, it's become quite the club staple.

Work work.

'Work Bitch' has worked its way to become my third favourite Britney song... although the backing track is basically Swedish House Mafia's 'Greyhound' (which in itself is an amazing track anyway).

Very avant-garde.

Terrible song apart from the production. Felt quite undecided on how to rate it tbh.

Leave tbh. :D

#12. Circus | Circus

At #12 we have 'Circus', released in December 2008 and was the title track to her 6th album and released as the 2nd single. While the title may be misleading, it isn't about Britney being the ringleader of an actual circus, it's actually a metaphor for the public's perception of Britney's life, and in the video itself she plays the ring leader, which judging by the ups and downs of her life, she has been anything but.., sure she's been the high wire star and then the sad clown. But now this proves she's back with a bang, with vocals sounding more confident than ever, while it rehashes the themes of fame, like she did on other songs, this still stands on it's own and it's reflective mood, does give you a taste of what's in store for the album itself and represents it, pretty well. This is true Britney well and truly back on form, and even now the song still sounds great. Upon release, this was the obvious choice for the follow up single due to it's #3 debut on the US Top 100, and becoming one of her most successful hits there, with over 3.1 million units sold. In the UK it didn't fare quite we all by reaching a #13 peak, but still managed a pretty decent chart run and sold over 200,000 copies, which isn't bad for a non top 10 hit. Elsewhere it managed top 10 peaks in Canada, Israel, Hungary, New Zealand, Australia, Sweden & Denmark, along with top 20 peaks in Ireland, Slovakia, Austria, Finland, Norway & Switzerland.

I love Circus, sometimes I too do think I prefer it to Womanizer, it had a really interesting rhythm to it's chorus that I don't think heard in any other Britney songs. I think the #13 peak was perfectly fine in the UK considering it had really decent longevity and sales!

It's a shame it isn't top 10 here, but I'm not that bothered as they're still mostly amazing songs to come.
