It's such a bad, cvnty entry to be greeting everyone with on home soil as well. A song called 'If I Were Sorry' is going to, in the narrative, reek of arrogance that they're so good at Eurovision. I hope it falls flat on its face (it won't).

There's a picture on Twitter with Viktor in bed cuddled up to another man in his underwear with a nice case of morning wood *.*

GET. THEM. VOTES.

If that was to find its way into my inbox one wouldn't complain.....one may be rather thankful.

I csn see this being TOLERABLE by thr time of the actual contest.

Indeed. But a Swedish entry shouldn't have to be going that far. It's not perhaps the worst of the genre I thought it was at first, but it's still not great.

Sent - someone mentioned this may have been from last year on Twitter as well, I don't recall however.

Well, when it came to Frans vs Wiktoria, I was actually rooting for Frans, so there's that.

Statements like this make me glad Samir & Viktor came LAST

FLAWLESS winner, such an amazing song

This is undoubtedly true, but when Robin and goat bitch are within the last handful (and a bit) of entries then you realise it CAN be worse.

It wouldn't be as good a present as Frans winning MF

Very pleasing winner, on live performances tonight I think Oscar and Frans were the stand-outs so I'm glad they were both rewarded by the juries. It's such a fantastic grower, the production is very uplifting for me and I love the strings that come in about halfway through. The televoting was so so close, I predicted the app voting would make things close but not that close! Looks like the international juries will have big impacts on results in future years.

The show was exceptionally produced, by far the highest quality final I've seen over the past few years. And I think we could be heading back to Sweden for Eurovision in 2017, we shall wait and see!

Final results if anyone missed some of them

01. Frans - If I Were Sorry 156

02. Oscar Zia - Human 132

03. Ace Wilder - Don't Worry 118

04. Wiktoria - Save Me 114

05. Robin Bengtsson - Constellation Prize 83

06. Molly Sandén - Youniverse 76

07. Lisa Ajax - My Heart Wants Me Dead 56

08. Panetoz - Håll om mig hårt 53

09. SaRaha - Kizunguzungu 47

10. Boris René - Put Your Love On Me 41

11. David Lindgren - We Are Your Tomorrow 39

12. Samir & Viktor - Bada nakna 31

I'm so pleased with the results overall, not just my favourite song winning. Oscar slaying, Ace also top 4 and Lisa avoiding the bottom 5!!!!! <3333

Myself and 3 mates watched it tonight (I'm slowly brainwashing others). Frans proved to be the most devisive - 2 loved it, 2 loathed it. Certainly the most devisive winner for some time.

Given it was not exactly a runaway winner it was tipped to be, I wonder if it will thoroughly slay in May (it probably will...).

I'm sure Molly doesn't mind losing, in that she's got the ultimate constellation prize, her and Danny have got engaged

Hmm... it's good, but extremely uneventful. It's like some strange and bizarre remix of Leona's 'I Got You' and Bieber's 'Sorry'.

Ah well, at least we know what Casey__ is up to nowadays!

Oh, for some reason, I didn't realise Wiktoria's points didn't push her above Ace, so Don't Worry actually came 3rd! What a success, genuinely thought this was going to bomb.

Something I've just read I think kinda accounts for a lot of why I think Frans got a lot of hype. Fresh from throwing Heroes a huge "gimic", a massive power ballad in Undo and the general feeling that Sweden throw EVERYTHING at Eurovision, they've got this option of a supposedly charismatic young lad who doesn't seem like he's desperate to hang onto Melodifestivalen fame like some of the returnees, with a simple song, simple staging. It'd have been successful if they'd thrown a bigger stage performance at it anyway but I think the simplicity of it all even down to Frans himself (who I found much more likeable last night, like he genuinely was taking in how much had changed in 3 weeks), in amongst a sea of Sweden's craziness is what really won it for him.

I would enjoy this finding its way to me too please.

I am glad it was a closer final than people were expecting, but when all the points were coming out very similar, I had a feeling it was going to go against what the majority on here thought. I would have preferred Human or Don't Worry (and probably 2 or 3 others), but I don't object to If I Were Sorry. Although I feel like it sounds under-produced and, the music might need a bit beefed up before May, to help Frans with his performance, as he won't get backing vocals on the track.

I am also not surprised about S&V finishing with nothing from the juries. Something felt off during their song and I think that they won't return next year.
