March 25, 201610 yr There is a clean version of the song called "I Took A Plane To Ibiza" so Radio 1 might as well play that.
March 25, 201610 yr Sigala pretty much doing what I'd envisaged a couple of weeks ago, it never seemed to have the hype of the previous two. Glad it didn't go higher as although I really like the song, OA/OS is such a dated and tiresome release strategy now and I hope releases like this continue to underperform, as MOS were no doubt gunning for a top three at least here.

You mean holding back releases surely? :kink:
March 25, 201610 yr Ibiza has definitely grown on me although Not That Simple is still my standout from that EP. How do Radio 1 handle the pill reference? Just bleeped out? Be good to see AlunaGeorge sneaking in next week if they can get a push on streaming and hold some of their airplay. I'm not getting my hopes up tho
March 25, 201610 yr Once it became apparent Sigala wasn't heading to #1 I didn't really care where it finished between #3 and #5. He has a nice chart history now at least, next single to peak at #7. No doubt the fake up-weighted Thursday stream sales screwed over both Sigala & Blonde anyway -_- 2 of the best songs of the year entering the top 40 in the same week though  Roses to be the next Faded & make a steady ascent up the chart. This week's top 10 is fantastic too, I love 9/10 songs.
March 25, 201610 yr Sigala was on track for #5 anyway going by the mids so the upweighted data likely made no difference!
