Work From Home is awful.

I beg the British public to have an ounce of sense and keep this crap off the top.

Well if there's no newsbeat, why is Greg rushing through the chart and didn't play anything between 40-26?

There's now 15 mins space for nothing or pointless chit-chat

15 minute takeover :P

this is not too bad actually, wished '7 Years' would keep dropping, ugh -_-

Edited by Rob S

Hopefully "Work From Home" will be able to get to #1 next week or the week after with A-list play from BBC Radio 1 and increased airplay from other stations as well. Should definitely get a #2 peak though and be their highest charting song so far!
I'm guessing Sigala's position is a HUGE disappointment to those who thought the pre-orders of the song are enough good to make it a number 1 contender.

I'm not really surprised of this position although it's a big shame, as it's a great great track with summery vibes already

Would have been interesting to see what the song could've done with an OA/OS strategy but we will not know it sadly.

I imagine it would've been a minor top 20 hit if it were OA/OS rather than a minor top 5 hit. I don't think it would've been a complete flop.

Biography

From the free-living enclave of Christiania in Copenhagen, Lukas Graham and his boys -- Mark "Lovestick" Falgren on drums, Kasper Daugaard on keys, and Magnus "Magnum" Larsson on bass -- crafted a combination of funky pop and R&B stylings, which made them popular in their home country of Denmark. With his soulful delivery and honest lyrics, Graham recounted tales of family strife, poor decisions, and the celebration of life, all inextricably entwined with his years spent in Christiania. The young Graham's musical influences ranged from classical -- gained during his childhood experiences with the Copenhagen Boys' Choir -- to the Beatles and the Stones, as well as the Prodigy and Dr. Dre, whose Chronic 2001 was one of the most influential albums for Graham. Despite a less-privileged childhood, his parents were strong role models and much of that love was reflected in his heartfelt songs, like "Mama Said" and "Moving Alone." In early 2012, he released his first album, a self-titled effort that included "Drunk in the Morning," which went on to become a hit throughout Europe. Once they received more international exposure, they were signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2013. A second self-titled album -- nicknamed the "Blue Album" -- was released in late 2015 and featured the international hit "7 Years." - iTunes

Biography

Singer Mike Posner launched his career at Duke University, where he balanced his undergraduate studies in sociology and business with his musical habits. Like fellow undergrad Asher Roth, Posner began making melodic pop-rap songs for the college crowd, filling his music with references to fraternity culture, dorm life, and young adulthood. He also compiled several mixtapes, one of which -- A Matter of Time -- topped the digital charts during the summer of 2009. After signing with J Records, he finished his degree, graduated with a 3.59 GPA, and released his full-length debut, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, in the summer of 2010. The album featured the worldwide hit "Cooler Than Me," and reached the Top Ten in the U.S. J Records dissolved soon after, and Posner moved to the parent label, RCA, but only after some legal wrangling, which was referenced in the title to his 2011 mixtape, The Layover. His career with RCA officially began late that same year with the December release of "Looks Like Sex." Two more singles, "The Way It Used to Be" and "Top of the World" (featuring Big Sean), followed in 2013 as preludes to his second official album, Pages. - iTunes

7 Years is still great, but I Took A Pill In Ibiza is brilliant, so I'm glad that's number one.

I just hope these two hold up to stop that "Work From Home" crap from going any further.

Great chart this week - so many good summery vibes, and I hope Blonde and Compact Disk can climb next week :)

I assume the OCC page is set to update at 5:45 automatically, so it wouldn't fit in with the programme if it was extended.

Future hit?

He formed the band Nick Jonas & The Administration, which released its first album in 2010.

Biography

The Tide is a band from Los Angeles, California formed in 2015. They are currently signed to The Vamps' new record label, Steady Records, under EMI Universal. They were the supporting act for The Vamps World Tour 2015 along with other artists such as Before You Exit (USA leg), Luke Friend (UK leg), HomeTown (UK leg) and Union J (UK leg). The four of them got together when The Vamps announced a secret project in late December 2014 and held auditions for a USA guitarist and drummer aged 18 - 20 to form a band and that more would be announced in early 2015. The band started on February 26, 2015, consisting of 4 members: Austin Corini (lead vocals and guitar), Drew Dirksen (lead guitar and backing vocals), Levi Jones (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Nate Parker (drums and backing vocals). Like The Vamps, the band started uploading covers on YouTube and gained an amount of fans since then.

In February 2015, The Vamps announced that they would be taking them on tour for The Vamps World Tour 2015. The Tide have so far played shows across Europe in various countries such as Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Ireland for The Vamps UK Arena Tour. The first show of the tour kicked off in Glasgow, Scotland and the last show was in Madrid, Spain.

On 24 March 2016, The Tide released their debut single "Young Love". - Wikipedia

Mike Posner to stay at #1 for a few more weeks please, that'd be brilliant  Then make way for Alan Walker in my dreams.

Love this song.

7 Years and Ibiza are two of my worst songs ever. Not even lying. Both sum up what I hate about music.

They are two of my fave songs of the year. :cheer:

I can connect with the British public much easier than you then. Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing though.

DNCE stalled just outside the top 20 officially and stalled just outside the top 10 on sales
