Rumour is Real aren't happy to pay quite that much for him. No idea why we are given how much Glazer related debt the club has

Yeah that's the sticking point, it will depend if they sell a couple of players. It will be interesting.

Regardless, I expect him to end up at Real Madrid at some point.

£100m for Pogba is ridiculous. Only Messi and Ronaldo are worth that insane amount of money.

Both Ronnie and Messi are too old (31&29 respectively) to pay that much for them now!

Jordan Ibe has left Liverpool to join Bournmouth on a four year contract :o

£15m as well, brilliant deal! And if he shows his potential we have a buy-back clause and sell-on fee. For once we have negotiated quite well.

I've seen a lot of people say it's a bad deal for Liverpool as he's a good player - my advice is.. clearly these people did not watch any Liverpool games last season!!!!

I like him a lot and am disappointed he has left but happy to see he has a buy back clause etc!

Could be that Chelsea buy Kante for £28m possibly. Why would he want to leave when there is Champions League football this season?

London, money & greater chance of winning more trophies I would imagine :P

Sky sources understand Chelsea have agreed a fee of around £32m for Leicester City's French international N'Golo Kante.

It's known Leicester offered Kante an improved four-year contract before the Euros, but the midfielder has now told the club he wants to move to Stamford Bridge.

It's thought Kante will have a medical over the weekend, before meeting up with Chelsea on their pre-season training camp in Austria, where he will discuss personal terms.

Looks like Kante moving to Chelsea will be happening. Moving from the Premier League champions to a mid-table side.

Well on the bright side he can win the West London league next season instead

Confirmed that Kante has moved to Chelsea for £30m for his words 'the biggest club in Europe' who lost to Rapid Vienna 2-0 with Terry, Matic, Willan, and Ivanovic not forgetting Mr Costa.

Greed from Kante there who so easily have been playing in the Champions League this season instead he'll be watching on the telly.

Good for his long term career prospects. May only have to wait a year until he gets to play in the Champions League. No brainer really.

There's no way that move was motivated by anything other than money.

Chelsea aren't even the biggest club in London.

Like most career moves!

Mhkyatarian (sp?) and Ibrahimovic have turned down the Champions League to play in the Europa League. Joel Matip has turned down European football in general to play for Liverpool. It's swings and roundabouts, and money is always involved!

Feel a bit for the Leicester fans as it's kinda a kick in the teeth, but if we were being paid 100k a year and someone offered us the same job for triple our wages we'd all be made not to take it

At least it's still Europe! We'd have no chance of landing them without Mourinho, that's the real draw this year for us. Plus the fact that we're Manchester United helps.

I totally get it, I'd do exactly the same. There's f*** all I wouldn't do for £300k a week!!!

This is a sign that the miracle of last season wont happen again this time for Leicester which is quite sad tbh. Would rather a team like them win it again if Man Utd fail to do so.
So it looks like the Pogba deal might be back on then! I'm still choosing to remain relatively quiet on the whole affair. If we sign him great but the pressure of that price tag will be ridiculous so I'm not counting any chickens yet...
