Adele, Beyonce and Rihanna, Drake are really the only omissions of note (maybe Prince too seeing as Bowie got a tribute) and obviously the first three are just witholding rights to all compilations now and Drake's waiting for One Dance to finish its record stay at #1 before letting the Now compilers have it

I guess OneRepublic, Christine and the Queens and Lukas Graham could have been on there but none have been massive hits (yet) so they're not exactly glaring omissions.

Also don't get why gnash is kicking off a disc of dance, when it could have been placed next to Calum Scott on Disc 1.

Why only 42 tracks? Surely they could have squeezed 3 or 4 more tracks on. And why is "Hotline Bling" on there when it's a year old? At least we know now that they have the rights to Drake. And it's also nice to see Rihanna have an appearance thanks to Calvin Harris

I don't mind Hotline Bling being on there but it should have been bottom of disc 2 seeing as it's rather old now. I assume Jenny tried her utmost to get One Dance but was given this as a compromise, which is at least another top 3 hit on the album (and to be fair, actually a far more iconic song than One Dance, despite lacking the #1 status )

It seems Calvin Harris has been snubbed. That's a first. And I'm referring to "Hype"
That's actually a really strong tracklist considering they don't have as many "hits" to choose from for the album, tbh. I'm impressed. Although it'd have been nice to have seen Christine & The Queens on there. :(

They've snubbed Disturbed, OneRepublic, Dizzee Rascal, "One Dance", MØ, Fergie and Twenty One Pilots. It seems they're against rock music appearing on the albums

I think MØ, Christine and Fergie will be on the next one (if they carry on the way they are hit-wise), it's still early for those in terms of chart success.
In all fairness I'd expect to see the likes of Dizzee, MØ, Fergie and twenty one pilots (assuming you mean Heathens) on the next album if they do significantly well enough in the coming months, same for Christine and potentially they may have the rights for One Dance by then. OneRepublic and Disturbed are the only two notable "snubs" that aren't Drake, Adele, Rihanna and Beyoncé!
that's actually a very decent tracklisting in terms of hit singles, and only a few that missed the top 40 and won't make it later on (Boys That Sing/Up&Up/Raging, and they aren't exactly WTF inclusions either)

FREGIE!!! <3 ily Joe <3 :')

Oh and for some reason I don't think 'Heathens' would be on there, even if it was currently top 10...

Omg how did you get that so quickly, I fixed it like immediately afterwards. Damn you.

I can't think of any glaring omissions really, apart from Drake/Rihanna/Adele but there's nothing they could have done about that if they haven't got the rights.

Strangest inclusion for me is Bieber's 'Company', why put a complete flop on there, even if it is Bieber?

So is this the first NOW album with no #1s?

What are you on about? He hasn't been snubbed at all. 'Hype' has only just been released, if it's a hit they'll probably put it on the next one.

"Hotline Bling" being on NOW 94 when it should have been on NOW 92 is like "Pure Shores" being on NOW 47 when it should have been on NOW 45
Kungs could have easily been a #1, maybe could still be, if it was reduced to 59p or if he'd promoted, though actually I'm not sure on what show that could have happened

Tragedy by Steps exceeds that by being three editions too late on Now 44. I know they had the double a-side Heartbeat on Now 41 instead though of course.

And Spice Girls' Too Much on Now 41 was very late too.

That's a really good tracklist. I'd have loved it if Tom Odell would have got on

No #1s is pretty hilarious, looking forward to the ad! What a far cry from just 2 years ago.

I'd say strong tracklist but they really had no choice at all here, the songs selected are the only ones they could have bar a few notable omissions the biggest being Disturbed seriously wtf happened there?! They're definitely anti-rock with both that & the 2 Stone Roses hits not being selected.

Nice double Sigala there on CD 2.
