I guess Henrikh Mkhitaryan will win the December goal of the month & Olivier Giroud will win the January goal of the month for the exact same type of goal.

Or as wenger said - it will be known as the Giroud Goal from now on

Were there decisions that went against you either time Rojo should have been sent off? (genuinely asking!)

Technically he was correct as this year is only 3 days old :P

Hull have just sacked Mike Phelan!

Bit surprised about that to be honest. Hull looking certain for relegation. Blame the players not Mike. Another club that is a total mess.

This is a complete farce. What did they expect when they started the season with 13 fit first team players?? A Champions League place?? f***ing idiots. Phelan was doing a respectable job

Exactly.

They owners have no interest in the football side of things at all and are just completely ruining it by not having a clue. I mean I'm pessimistic so I was always expecting to finish bottom but some of the results we've been getting, you can see that we can play but the players and team staff are just completely drained and fed up of the whole scenario.

The fact that they wouldn't put any money forward to get players in until the last second of the transfer window meant we were always going to be at a disadvantage.

What are the owners of Hull City wanting to see? A massive climb up the table, completing for Europe in 2 years. Seriously.

Shame that ended 3-3 with a last minute Giroud getting them a result they're not entirely deserving of yet again

Yeah, that's never happened to United, masters of snatching a late 1-0 win after producing nothing for 88 minutes.

I don't know why anyone would take on the Hull job until there was a take over.

There are rumblings that it might not *be* an Allam situation, and that there is a possibility of potential new owners around the corner and Marco Silva is their appointment as manager.

How true that is I don't know though.

Sunderland have rejected a bid of £6Million from West Ham for Defoe.

If they accept an offer of anything they are stupid. Staying up is worth £100Million +

West Ham have said name your price and we will pay it, although rumours have an upped offer of £7Million are starting. The owners would apparently will sell for £10million. How true that is I don't know.

If he is still a Sunderland player on Saturday and isn't in the squad for the FA Cup he is as good as gone.

Selling one of your star players to potential relegation rivals is beyond stupid. I don't get the owners logic. They want to sell the club and a Premier League club (albeit a struggling one) looks much better than a Championship club.

Chelsea are losing 2-0 to Tottenham at the moment so it looks like they wont equal the 14 game Premier League record for consecutive wins. Liverpool will be kicking themselves for dropping 2 points against Sunderland now!
Yep, that's definitely what we meant. Well done.

It was only a joke!

It's a point gained on them. As far as I'm concerned, there's ages left to go. If we're within 4 points of Chelsea by the end of January then I fancy us to give the title a real shot. Key is just to close the gap a little, which I think will happen now.

Former Olympiakos manager Marco Silva has been confirmed as the new Hull City manager.

Olivier Giroud, Koscielny and Coquelin have all extended their contracts at Arsenal as well as Felliani extending his contract until 2018 with Man United.

Felliani hugging Jose Mourinho after scoring in the EFL Cup semi final against Hull was the giveaway here!

He was out of contract in the summer. I am praying that it's so we can monetise his release in the summer market. If he was staying past the end of they year logic would have dictated a longer contract being put in place now.

Diego Costa has been dropped for Chelsea's match against Leicester today by Antonio Conte after he apparently said that he wants to move to China for 30 mill a week. Also Payet has gone on strike at West Ham

Edit: It's 30 million a year Diego Costa is reportedly after although who wouldn't want 30 million pounds a week

If we beat Liverpool tomorrow then we're back in the title race even though we almost certainly wont win the league because we'll only be 2 points behind Liverpool. It's either that or Liverpool's title hopes will be done for, you can't have one rule for one team and have another rule for a different team.
