Leicester are so strange this season, they've almost got the exact same squad player for player as last season but they are whipping boys at the moment. You just know that they're going to lose these days!

Leicester are definitely in a relegation battle this season. Surely they can't go down.

Missed opportunity for Tottenham yesterday against Sunderland.

I looks like they might do at this rate. I'm not sure I'd like to make a call at the moment on who is going to go down. There's a good half dozen plausible candidates.

It's as if Leicester are sitting back on their laurels. I think their manager is more accurate though by highlighting that the way they played last year took everyone by surprise and nobody could deal with it very well. Now everyone knows how to cope with Vardy et al and they lost a couple of key players. I do think some aren't turning up this year, Drinkwater in particular seems to be justifiably getting hammered for that right now, and it's very amusing to see them actually progress in the CL while sliding into a relegation battle.

I'd bet on Leicester going down. Clearly no love whatsoever for Ranieri in that dressing room. He's gone end of season regardless of whether they stay up.

He's definitely lived up to his tinkerman name this year.

I think Leicester's title win last season will be one of those moments similar to England's 1966 World Cup win where younger generations will ask people of this generation "What was it like in 2016 when Leicester won the Premier League?" "Will it happen in my lifetime?"

In other news Man United squander a good opportunity and throw 2 points away again :drama:

Yeah it was a plucky win against all odds. Fair play to them. They've been well and truly found out this year though. Mahrez will be off in the summer as well!

Agreed. All the sides will drop points though, can tell Mourinho was mega pissed off  Won't be too many times Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs all drop points on the same week. And City look to be finding form again. Think it will be tough to get Top 4 now with Europe starting again soon. Just my opinion of course.

I finally understand football hooliganism!

Honestly I thought Clattenburg was the worst ref to have officiated at old Trafford this year but we officially have a new low. If I was to mark him out of ten, negative infinity would feel too high.

I think Hull spent more time wasting time and feigning injury than they did actually playing football. I cannot wait for them to be sent back to the championship

Hull time wasted, but fair play to them. Only watched the second half, but they defended well and had some good passages of play.

Pot, kettle, black for Mourinho! His teams are the worst at it!

Yeah he keeps wheeling out the same excuses & it's getting boring now. We've dropped points in so many winnable matches this season, no doubt Leicester will actually turn up for once this season at the weekend & turn us over.

Still 5 points from second doesn't sound too bad compared to 4 points from fourth, extremely tight!

Said it before, no Ibra (and no favourable offside calls!! ;)) no party. Don't know why Mourinho doesn't fancy Martial.. someone is gonna pick up a hell of a bargain in the summer.

Apparently a deal in principle in done for Grizemann as well, wonder why that's come out tonight!!! The expensive gift that just keeps on giving!

Realistically, which two teams above them are United going to catch when they play like that?

They are needing others to slip up, which will happen. That said, Arsenal/Liverpool/City/Spurs have all had periods where they have been out of form already, I can't see it happening too much. Of course everyone will still slip up, but this Man Utd team will also slip up when luck doesn't go their way. Going to be a struggle to get Top 4 unless they bin off the Europa League.

I actually hope we win the Europa League as we've got out of the group stage so we might as well win it now, it's also a trophy that Man United have never won before in their history. It will also be pure banter to our rivals that have been teasing us all season about staying in sixth place and not making the top 4 last season if we qualify for next season's Champions League solely by winning this season's Europa League.

As a Liverpool fan our road to the final last season was great - it's a great competition when you get to the knockout stages and you'll Meet some decent upcoming sides!

And as you say you haven't won the UEFA Cup!

Agreed, it's a good trophy. Last year was so much fun and the Borussia Dortmund game will go down in folklore (as will the no-show in the 2nd half against Sevilla). I see why it's looked down upon, but there are usually some great teams in there. This year, the standard is far lower. Man Utd and Spurs are the best teams, but I doubt Spurs will take it seriously unless they get to the semi-finals. Man Utd have a great chance, but it will 100% impact any Champions League challenge. I guess it depends on the gamble Mourinho takes.

Not sure the 6th place jokes will ever stop being funny though, even if you win the Europa League!

The 6th place jokes will definitely stop being funny for fans of the team that finishes 5th if we end the season in 6th place but with our name on the Europa League trophy!
