Oh you read the mail. What a non shock.

The referendum 2 years ago was in a different political landscape. Things have significantly changed now.

The Mail didn't *form* my opinions, it merely reflects them.

The change of landscape is irrelevant, the fact remains was that the SNP wanted Scotland out of the UK long before the EU referendum.

At our 16-19 college we had our own EU referendum for people to vote in year 12/under 18 year olds a there was a 60% turnout and 68.4% of votes in favour of remain. Shame we don't have the right to vote despite it effecting our future too ;_;

Boris on tv: i paraphrase...

Time to take back a fair immigration policy and out of the hands of those using it for political purposes.

f***ING LYING HYPOCRITE! :o

There is no need to rush leavin the EU. No honest, they just said it.

ANOTHER LIE. within 6 hours of winning they have admitted it cant be done in 2 years, and they have forotten all about using racism as a voting tool.

That didnt take long to backtrack on then....

such a shame, maybe if they let 16-17 year olds vote things could have turned out differently.

though I imagine if there was a mock EU referendum in our school Leave would win with a clear majority (I live in Kent which basically all of voted Leave, except Tunbridge Wells oddly)

how long do we think it'll be before Boris announces his bid for leadership?

by 12:30 at the latest.

I just read Nigel Farage twitter on BBC News to declare June 23 as a national day, what a twat.
Like the Mail Online has?

I wouldn't know. I don't provide traffic for hate speech.

It's important to state for all the Buzzjack gays, that all LGBT Rights, apart from marriage, are protected by EU equality laws. So god knows how the far right might manage to mess with that now.

Oh Nicola f***ing YES!!!! Standing in front of the Saltire and EU Flag and says game on!

The firing gun of IndyRef2 has been fired and with a pro-Indy majority it will pass Holyrood and judging by Willie Rennie's comments this morning he could back it too

So those of you that wanted to take back control of borders. Now there will be more borders. More division.

Slow claps to you. Disgusting.

I'm utterly fuming.

Y'all are more than welcome to come and live in The Netherlands xxxx

I still can't grasp the fact that Britain aparantly has so many brainless farts who can't think outside their own happy little rainbow worlds and see what this does, not only to your economy, but also to your nation, Europe as a whole, dozens of other economies and how this divides y'all even further from Europe. It's a massive mess.

The Leave side has done nothing else but lie, as has been said before and has now been confirmed by that Nigel guy himself on GMB

Even if they do, it'll be years before they could get back into the EU on their own.

Yet the Leave side kept telling us that Turkey's membership was imminent. Scotland will have satisfied most of the requirements for membership simply by being part of the UK. The SNP have every right at least to explore the possibility of effectively inheriting the UK's membership.

Well, there are ~1.5m 16-17yo's in the country. If they turned out at the national rate of 72% (which is unlikely), that's about 1.1m voters - which is well under the 1.27m margin that Leave won by, so the result would not have been changed no matter *how* they would have voted.

The composition of the House of Commons has not changed, and there are no members of the extreme-right in it, so I don't see how you think that'll happen?

And Nicola has just emphatically announced her intentions to the uk. She's off to visit every single EU member state and the EU itself to reiterate Scotland's commitment. She's gathering support from the bloc. Every time I think she's the best politician the uk has she ups her game

One Russian media just reported that UK have "unanimously" decided to abandon the EU. And then showed the detailed stats. I think they don't know what unanimous means. :')
