I'm extremely pleased with 16th for an entry I'd pretty much given up on! My second highest finish of the year so far and only 3 points off being my second highest scorer. Thanks again to all who voted for it, got way more of the higher scores than I'd have ever predicted :o (+ 16th is a new unique position yass)

 

Great that N DNTN did have a late rally into the top 3 after lagging behind earlier, and New Lexico into the top 5 as well. Also yas for Aeroche, Jadakissnia and TARO Bellamia making the top 10 (now Joseph can finally update his 'I've only had 2 top 10s' speech :kink:) + pretty good results for Skall and Trifoski <3

Also very happy with my finish, I expected 25-30ish but grew to love the song even more than I already did in sending it and sharing it with you all and so I was very happy with 15th! <3

Projected 31st and finished 16th, matching my biggest ever improvement from the semi (and the third time this year that I've outperformed the projection by 10 or more places). ;o

 

Semi 2 results in general seem massively different from the final, even moreso than usual - unbelievable that Invader Girl beat Bang La Decks, and Lemon Demon being as high as 2nd??

Just catching up with this, fairly happy with 18th. Was hoping for top 20, that's 5 in the last 7 contests (the old Cadelicia seems well and truly vanquished!!!). Good job for a song that I only sent to get lighten the load on my potential list. :lol:

Bizarre semi results...! And just shows how many songs must have DNQ'd due to the wrong semi effect this month, those results are crazy compared to what happened in the final.

yep, I'm sure Ramrynia's entry would have finished top 20 at least if it had qualified, reminds me of '4 Walls' DNQing last year which surely would've gone top 10(?) Guess we'll never know.

 

maybe we should put all the countries that usually vote for each other in the same semi so there's less chance of a 'wrong-semi' effect, though I understand that would be difficult for the host. I know I was very lucky to have all my fans in my semi this month.
