Yasmin) 00 (18th) Ultraviolenceland // Ana Mena - No Soy Como Tú Crees 00 (17th) Kylienips // Juventa - Superhuman (Culture Code Remix) (feat. Kelly Sweet) 00 (16th) New Lexico // Celtic Woman - Tír Na nÓg (feat. Oonagh) They were our favourite nation of 2015 with, as of the time of writing this, still five songs to be announced in our top 18 EOY (it'll be completed one day) but it's taken until now for Terra Avium to deliver another song the Persephonian public can properly rally behind. But do that they now have, as the combination of bhangra and Celtic music could never be anything short of a truly iconic bop and sees them breeze to our 18 this time around *.* Thank god the BJSC voters didn't vote out the bhangra song again like they did with 'Look / Lak' (never forget). Skall's second qualifier of the year is their second song of the year to get our 15 as they delivered another truly entrancing track with some delicious bleeps and bloops. Plaitum got high points from us when 152chris sent them to Unknown Pleasures and ultimately won, could history be repeating?? The massive 'Jagwa' gets our 13 points. FSR Rontvia get their annual points from us (I checked and we've only voted for them once a year since 2013! though always high points when we do) with 12 points for their standout moody spoken word track. A big welcome back to Cumulonimbia with 11 points going to their comeback from the wonderful Kaytranada, an addictively funky track with a super qt video <3 Aeroche's bump in the whip bop takes 10 points from us, and as with the 5 songs above it, we would actually rank it higher than our own entry ;o 9 points go to a subtle beauty from Ethanola (who we are loving seeing go out of both their comfort zone and the comfort zone of BJSC in general so much this year and yet still making the final every time *.*), just beating out the huge megabops from Jadakissnia and Beaverdonia which take 8 and 7 points respectively, 'Toccata' winning out thanks to its spoopiness which we always approve of. A bit of a brave entry from Botanikka but one we are very pleased they went with and they have been rewarded with our 6 points, a really stunning performance that just grew and grew with each listen <3 Trifoski's quirky track from an Internet legend takes home 5 points (good luck agaist the agenda), 4 points go to another piece of Japanese insanity unearthed by Séyetana, 3 points to a stunning Russian track which becomes our second favourite Hushkanukia entry and another huge grower, 2 points go to Yehesi with another rather beautiful song with some huge dubstep sections *.* and finally The Actual Republic of Bellamia get a rare appearance in our votes, just about scraping 1 point with their latest standard twink.
