It's interesting (and a little disappointing) to see Rihanna, Shawn Mendes, and Twenty One Pilots all missed the top 40 with their actual follow-up singles and are all top 40 with other songs/singles instead!

Biography

Singer Mike Posner launched his career at Duke University, where he balanced his undergraduate studies in sociology and business with his musical habits. Like fellow undergrad Asher Roth, Posner began making melodic pop-rap songs for the college crowd, filling his music with references to fraternity culture, dorm life, and young adulthood. He also compiled several mixtapes, one of which -- A Matter of Time -- topped the digital charts during the summer of 2009. After signing with J Records, he finished his degree, graduated with a 3.59 GPA, and released his full-length debut, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, in the summer of 2010. The album featured the worldwide hit "Cooler Than Me," and reached the Top Ten in the U.S. J Records dissolved soon after, and Posner moved to its parent label, RCA, but only after some legal wrangling, which was referenced in the title to his 2011 mixtape The Layover. His career with RCA officially began late that same year with the December release of "Looks Like Sex." Two more singles, "The Way It Used to Be" and "Top of the World" (featuring Big Sean), followed in 2013 as preludes to his second official album, Pages. The EP The Truth followed in 2015 and featured the hit "I Took a Pill in Ibiza." The single also landed on the 2016 LP At Night, Alone, which featured a guest appearance from the returning Big Sean. - iTunes

This should be my new name tbh.

I approve wholeheartedly :heehee:

It's not too late for 'Ride' actually, it's now higher on Spotify than 'Heathens' is.

this lush remix of 'in ibiza' sounds so good in the sun~ B-)
'breathe' needs to smash hard asap
A bit bored of this now. I wish 'Breathe' was in the top 40 for SeeB instead, one of my favourite songs around at the moment

Such a shame that 'Breathe' doesn't appear to be getting any sort of push anywhere. Though at least SeeB are getting another big Spotify hit right now with 'Hymn For The Weekend'

ITAPII dropped 1 place, then 2 places, then 4 places. Is it too much to ask for it to drop 8 places next week?

I can hope you're right

Biography - Cheat Codes

Los Angeles-based electronic trio Cheat Codes debuted in 2015 with their single "Visions," a floor-filling, radio-ready bite of house in a vein similar to Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. The three members of the group -- Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, and Kevin Ford -- each have deep roots in L.A., working on individual projects before joining forces for Cheat Codes (Dahl once performed as singer/songwriter Pluginstereo). Their different backgrounds helped inform Cheat Codes' stylistically varied sound, which can range from warm pop to outright big house bangers. After the release of "Visions," they quickly followed with the tropical-tinged "Don't Say No" (featuring Dresses), "Senses" (featuring Lostboycrow), and "Adventure" (featuring Evan Wartner). As they gained social media exposure, they joined the Chainsmokers on tour. Successive singles continued to drop into 2016, when they unveiled "Sex" (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam), which borrowed the sentiment and chorus from the Salt-N- Pepa classic "Let's Talk About Sex." - iTunes

Biography - Kris Kross Amsterdam

Named in tribute to the early-'90s adolescent rap duo Kris Kross, Dutch DJ collective Kris Kross Amsterdam was created by brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman in 2011 when the duo established a club night in order to play the music they grew up with rather than the popular dance music that dominated the club scene. Spinning a diverse mix of R&B, hip-hop, funk, and house, the concept turned out to be a success, and the duo sold out many club nights in Amsterdam. After several years of gigs and mixtapes, as well as establishing a clothing line, the duo began collaborating with MC Yuki Kempees and working on original material in 2014. Kris Kross Amsterdam signed to Spinnin' Records and released the trap-tinged R&B single "Until the Morning" in 2015. Second single "SEX" followed in early 2016, a quasi-cover of Salt-N-Pepa's "Let's Talk About Sex" featuring assistance from Los Angeles' Cheat Codes. - iTunes
