The kind of drop in this is heavenly, the bass kind of reminds me of This Girl and some of the sounds in the background give me Light It Up vibes, such a tuneeee :music:
Ooh I hear both of those but the two I had in mind were Sorry (Justin Bieber) and Final Song!

I still don't really get Hotter Than Hell. Into You on the other hand

this has been such a quiet hit - I've barely heard it outside of the chart. Pretty good.
Ooh yes this rather jaunty chorus is very good. Hope this eventually goes on to become a top 10 hit.

I forgot Into You was still to come.

Biography

Featuring Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw from Style of Eye, Galantis are a Swedish superduo who represent the place where EDM and pop meet. Karlsson (the man behind hits like Britney Spears' "Toxic") met Eklöw (the man behind hits like Icona Pop's "I Love It") at the Robotberget studio in Stockholm. Their mutual admiration society turned into a project once they began discussing a more poignant style of EDM that retained pop's passion. The duo set up shop on the Stockholm archipelago in the Baltic Sea, began recording, and released the "Smile" single on the Atlantic label in late 2013. The hit single "Runaway (U & I)" followed in 2014, while their debut effort, Pharmacy, landed a year later. The album featured two new singles, "Gold Dust" and "Peanut Butter Jelly." - iTunes

I really did not get the fuss over Into You at all for a few weeks, thought it was the worst single she'd released in ages but been enjoying it loads at the moment. Still do prefer Focus and Dangerous Woman but it completes a great trinity. Be Alright for next single I hope!
Galantissss  This has been huge but like Into You I've barely heard it outside of the chart.
'no money' ~ luxuriant summer jam
'No Money' just leaves me cold for some reason :( C'mon Galantis, forget 'this time I ain't gonna run away' - give me another 'Runaway (U & i)' type smash please

Biography

Earning his cred as a producer before taking his music to the masses as a rapper/singer, Kent Jones is an artist signed to DJ Khaled's label, We the Best Entertainment. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Jones first became involved in music via his church, then his interests turned to jazz, a genre where he discovered the work of Quincy Jones. He later became interested in hip-hop, where he particularly admired the work of Dr. Dre and Timbaland, two bass-oriented producers who influenced Jones' own booming productions. After working with Ace Hood, DJ Traphouse, and other local artists, he was called up to the majors by DJ Khaled. Now signed to We the Best Entertainment as a triple threat -- producer, singer, and rapper -- Jones released his single "Don't Mind" and appeared alongside Ace Hood and Vado on Khaled's cut "365." The latter landed on the NBA 2K16 video game soundtrack. - iTunes
