I'm sooo loving this right now - however I seem to be getting the same Pokemon over and over again - is there any specific places to get different types because I always look in urban, densely populated areas so maybe that's why I get the same ones over and over.

The app is so glitchy it's unreal. I have the same problem as you Tim a lot of the time. Lost some awesome catches that way which sucks.

Its so f***ing annoying. I lost put on a Stayu, that seahorse one, crabby and Pigeotto :(

I'm pretty certain - I've been able to do everything I like on the internet with the exception of using Go, so this seems app-specific. That said, the problem seems at least partly unique to me so I'm really not sure what my issue is.

 

I'm just ignoring it for now because my area seems to be having trouble with the game today outside of my issues, but I hope it's fixed later.

 

I think it's just real luck of the draw. We were hunting yesterday and at times one of us was on and the other couldn't get on the servers! Just now I was able to get on perfectly fine.. then 5 minutes later it crashes on me!

 

There's teething problems right across the board. I think some of it the naivety of the creators.. don't think they had an idea how popular the app would be.

I know looking near bodies of water increase your chances of getting Water types - I caught a Krabby at Universal Studios near the Harry Potter rides but it was next to Waterworld :)

 

I also think looking near Pokestops helps with getting rarer Pokemon but that's just me :P

I've caught nearly 90 water pokemon. Perks of living on a Quay.

 

 

Unfortunately I have about 3 others that aren't water :lol:

I had Charmander sitting on my couch in my house lol, my friends were jealous.

I lost a Poliwag before I could click on it today :( Poliwhirl was one of my favourites from watching the show years ago so I'll be making it a goal to catch all of those I can see. But I seem to be in a decent area to get water types if I go further afield so hopefully not long.

 

Managed to get a female Nidoran though, I seem to finally be unearthing some of the more unusual ones.

I had a Squirtle in my grasp and then the app glitched out on me :cry:

 

 

I've caught 6 Drowzee's today, not sure what that says about Manchester, and the usual assortment of water based Pokemon. For a land locked city, there's a f*** tonne of water about

I just discoverd that you can transfer double pokemon for candies so now my 7 leftover Pidgey's are transferred and I can evolve the one left *.*

I had a Pikachu AND a Squirtle in my house today (but couldn't catch Squirtle :().

 

I'm almost level 16 now. Help me.

I love this game so much! :wub: I just caught a Meowth, which is the only one I really wanted because Team Rocket for life.

Until they add other generations of Pokemon then I really want a Mudkip.

Got a Poliwag, Shellder, Meowth, Dratini, Psyduck and Drowzee whilst out at the beach tonight. Also saw a Blastoise but the app glitches whilst I was battling it.

 

Went to Wetherspoons as well and there was a Jynx there (obviously likes a tipple)! :lol:

I wonder tho, if i was playing and went up to one of my mum's cats, would i be able to catch a Meowstic, or a Litten? *.* 🔥 🔥 🔥 that alone would convince me to get this app

Only 1st-generation Pokemon are available currently, so not yet :P

Betraying the dog agenda for a minute, Meowstic *.* But I just love the concept of the gender differences being really different rather than just the usual aesthetics and the blue one looks so cool.

 

Adding more gens would get me more interested actually :lol: Not many of my faves are gen 1.
