August 4, 20168 yr I agree with her vocals on this. Sometimes I like them, but a lot of the time I'm not a fan in all honesty. I think that is what is stopping me from really loving the song so much, too! As I said, I don't dislike or hate this, I really enjoy it, but it's not something I'm putting on repeat and for that I'll stick to 'Make Me', but at least we've got some more natural vocals from her! Ready for the album now though! Hope we get at least one more instant grat before album release. I really think they will help sales for the album!
August 4, 20168 yr Author this is weirdly amazing. Yeah, it seems so different for her. Very funky, very fresh. Very, very cool. Artsy fartsy. I truly love her vocals on this, but, I can totally see why it would be off putting for others. I love nasalney.
August 4, 20168 yr The chorus really reminds me of 'Inside Out'! And tbh, it's only the vocals in the chorus which annoy me. The verses, bridge and the speaking parts are all lush <3
August 5, 20168 yr Author Well we all know how much I stanned for 'Inside Out'. This is just as good, if not better. Time will tell. The most exciting aspect to this song is that is the most alive and energetic she has sounded on a track since 'Do Somethin'. The personality is BACK in the music and that's the main reason she became a pop staple in the first place. It's so exciting to see that as a fan. Edited August 5, 20168 yr by Tyler
August 5, 20168 yr Agreed! Loving the personality and the attitude on this track. The most "alive" she's sounded since 'Do Somethin'' indeed!
August 5, 20168 yr Inside Out    Honestly up there with Baby One More Time, Everytime and Toxic for me. I don't know why it just grabs me SO much <3 I like this song in theory as a song, but it's not a Britney sort of song - I don't think her vocals fit that much. They're a bit jarring, especially in the chorus.
August 5, 20168 yr I think once you get past the perhaps grating vocals on first listen, this song becomes really enjoyable for the fun it is. However this era is giving me slight Selena Gomez teas, with Make Me being the Good For You, quite seductive and sensual, loved by a lot of people. This is the Same Old Love, completely divisive
August 5, 20168 yr Wow, this is genuinely excruciating vocally, not even sure it's a good song even taking out how bad she sounds. She's A LOT better than this.
August 6, 20168 yr This is her FourFiveSeconds except really not working for her. She sounds SO BAD it's actually hilarious.
August 6, 20168 yr Well FourFiveSeconds is great and this is absolutely hideous, so I'm not sure I see the similarities either :') I think Haus of talking about the rawness of their voices in the songs though, which I get. It's so so offputting in this though, whereas in FourFiveSeconds' case, it's what give it its charm.
August 6, 20168 yr Author I guess we can agree to disagree, I enjoy 'Private Show' more than any other release by her in over half a decade, along with WB. But, fourfiveseconds is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. #alternateopinions Private Show is the only reason I'm still even excited about 'Glory'.
