I looked at R1's @s on Twitter and it was 80% positive, so I don't know why he said "everyone hates it", but he said that about I Took a Pill in Ibiza when it was first played on his show and was wrong.

no matter how good or commercially appealing 'Make Me' is (haven't heard it yet) I'm 95% sure radio won't give it a chance because Britney is 'old' and 'irrelevant'.

 

It's 99.9% likely Radio 1 won't playlist it anyway.

I don't think Britney's streaming will be very good. If Drake is being dethroned it won't be from either Katy or Britney (Unless Katy adds streaming, and even then, chances are slim).

It depends how well Katy holds up really, if she can make the iTunes #1 and keep it or near it all week, it could go top 10! On the other hand it could plummet once the initial hype has died off.

Low top 40 might be a little low, but I guess she'll probably add it to Spotify soon. I'd probably predict, realistically - around #20 for Katy.

Yeah, Katy is definitely on Apple Music (already added it to my playlist). I know Apple Musoc doesn't have as big a market share as Spotify, but surely it should get a decent amount from there if it is one of the top streamed songs, no?

I imagine Katy will still get a decent amount of streams if she's only on Apple Music, at least in week one.

 

Drake's album was only on Apple Music on its first week and a fair few album tracks charted from mostly streams-only (including 'Too Good' at #41)
