July 20, 20169 yr Drake still at number 1 today on 36,272. Jonas Blue are about 1.4K adrift and very unlikely to rally into a lead by Friday - fifteenth week it is! :o

July 20, 20169 yr Yep... definitely Drake for a 15th week, Britney will end up Top 50 by the end of the week, she's barely holding on. Adele will take the #1 album by Friday.
July 20, 20169 yr Kiwanuka holding up pretty well, Adele will overtake but he should be safe for top 3, maybe even #2
July 20, 20169 yr Given the relative lack of new album releases next week, it would be fantastic if Christine could somehow capitalise and sneak a week at #1.
July 20, 20169 yr Given the relative lack of new album releases next week, it would be fantastic if Christine could somehow capitalise and sneak a week at #1. Yes looking like it could happen with a bit of a push from the Record company. Adele sold marginally more yesterday than Christine & The Queens despite being behind the French band on Amazon/iTunes (I guess Adele is selling more in supermarkets and getting more streams). It wouldn't surprise me if "Purpose" continues to climb in coming weeks and finally makes it to top.
July 20, 20169 yr what about kill em with kindness and we dont talk anymore? We Don't Talk Anymore #30, and the other track not top 40.
July 20, 20169 yr Author Adele will take the #1 album by Friday. With barely 11k mind. :( I dread to think how many sales it'll take to get #1 next week with Bear's Den likely to be the only competition from the new releases. As Dandy says, that hopefully could mean Christine & The Queens can capitalise on that and possibly take #1. All they need is another performance and they'll receive another big sales boost.
July 20, 20169 yr Michael Kiwanuka's album has been reduced to £4.99 on Amazon which will probably help it a little bit, though I doubt that will be enough for him to keep the #1?
July 20, 20169 yr this Friday would be the perfect moment for Frank Ocean to finally release his album!!!
July 20, 20169 yr Author this Friday would be the perfect moment for Frank Ocean to finally release his album!!! Indeed! I seem to recall a week in April being set to have sub 10k sales at #1 and Beyonce released her album out of nowhere, although of course Prince's death happened as well which boosted what would have been a very low sales week.
July 20, 20169 yr Michael Kiwanuka's album has been reduced to £4.99 on Amazon which will probably help it a little bit, though I doubt that will be enough for him to keep the #1? Wise move though, it has all ready gone back above Christine & The Queens in the Amazon Best Sellers. In next month or so I think we are going to see a few more Promotions like this and ones like the 99p download offer that propelled Coldplay Album to the top earlier in the year.
