He's out. The most definitive and iconic video game character ever. Super Mario drops out in 5th place. Let down certainly by his lack of "impact!!1" and his "basic!!1" persona in many of the Party, Tennis, Kart, Sports games this is quite the shock! They key mascot for Nintendo, first appearing in arcade game 'Donkey Kong' and subsequently spawning a plethora of video games in which he jumps and attacks his foes in a bid to rescue his beloved princess or his kingdom. He is an everyman, able to take on any persona, tackle any problem and just be an all round good guy. A phenomenal streak of hit games with his as protagonist ranging from every console that Nintendo has released, from Paper, to Galaxy, to World, to everything in between, the success he's had is unrivaled! A true legend of video gaming history ~

Oh gosh it's supposed to be a double elimination, but there's a tie argh!

 

I'll close it and just have a 3 way final I guess~ Will also need to close the final round on Tuesday so I can post results in time :o
