Is anyone having any problems viewing YouTube videos embedded on the site? I know myself and Liam are, I'm using Safari and didn't know if it was something to do with that.

I've added a screenshot of what it looks like below but as you can see the YouTube logo is half way off the video in the bottom right and there is no preview or play button. Hovering over or clicking it does absolutely nothing.

Any ideas?

EDIT

Sorry for the screen stretch!

This has happened since this morning. Every time I see a embedded YouTube video displayed on here, I get this image.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I've tried everything.

I'm having the same problem on Chrome! And it's happening on both laptop and desktop.

Merged the two topics. I've got exactly what you've experienced too, I'm on Chrome, I would check other browsers if you can.

I'm afraid I have no idea what's causing this though.

It's fine for me on Firefox! Although I've noticed a few people seem to be embedding videos incorrectly, using this code:

[youtube]?v=qz4wPWf4KJo[/youtube]

Instead of the correct:

[youtube]qz4wPWf4KJo[/youtube]

The second video works fine for me!

I feel relieved that it's not happening to me alone though. :D

This doesn't happen on any other site I go to other than here & ATRL. Strange.

I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried on both Chrome & Edge.

They show up on my phone but not my laptop, very peculiar!

It doesn't wrk for me either on Chrome. I thought it was just an error something made, but seeing as it's happening in my own topic as well and I've been embedding like this since I got on this website.

When Iclick the youtube logo it just brings me to the Youtube-homepage as well

Try updating flash. It's the flash plug in that drives these things and when they issue a new version the old one very helpfully just stops working which caused things like you're experiencing.

Should all work ok once it's been updated.

Same here as well, perhaps YouTube have changed something in their coding and we'll need Phil to implement the new embed coding or however it works. I noticed YouTube has changed its layout on its website slightly regarding size of fonts and minor things like that so maybe it is all linked.
