The comedy and heartache was well balanced tonight. I always found counteracting comedy during the DTC period to be quite forced but it wasn't the case tonight (and it was usually the Carters supplying the light relief so it was nice to see them at the centre of the grit). Kim's expressions when she was acting interested in Denise's book was hilarious and I was genuinely laughing, yet I could be really feel for Whitney during her scenes in the hospital.
You can tell DTC has gone since Mick didn't have a hissy fit in the hospital because the doctors couldn't Magic the baby back to life.
There has been a refreshing break from mick, thank god

Very good episode tonight. Shame about Whitney, she needs something positive to happen!

Quite enjoyed the interaction between Dot and Ricky.

Ricky is my fave character I think. Especially is Shabnam never comes back.

Absolutely heartbroken for Whitney :(

Also I must say, I am really positive about the shift in style and tone recently. The more character driven plots are reeling me in. Tonight's episode has been so heartwrenching, especially the little speech Pam gave to Ben. :'(

Loved the part where Ben looked at Kathy when he said "new beginnings". Hopefully we'll start seeing a proper relationship forming between the two now.
Not no one never harvested a spaghetti hoop!
This is the first time I've ever seen Jay with a beard. I remember when he was a kid terrorizing Dot and taking the piss out of Roxy, he's grown up now
screaming at the users over at digital spy saying SOC isnt going to last very long. are they ever f***ing happy?
Les used to make me cringe but his awful acting kinda worked in the end. I can't really explain it tbh  But I fell in love with them both by the time they left. They'll be missed.
Call me slow, but why is William sad?
