Posted September 2, 20168 yr Hello and welcome to the second round of deciding our missed opportunity song that should have been a single. We're going to do a round for each album and then the top three from each will go into the final round. So please vote for as many songs that you think should have been singles from Teenage Dream. Progressing from One of the Boys: One of the Boys [ 14 ] ** [31.82%] If You Can Afford Me [ 8 ] ** [18.18%] Self Inflicted [ 8 ] ** [18.18%] Other scores: Ur So Gay [ 7 ] ** [15.91%] I'm Still Breathing [ 2 ] ** [4.55%] Fingerprints [ 2 ] ** [4.55%] Mannequin [ 1 ] ** [2.27%] Lost [ 1 ] ** [2.27%] A Cup of Coffee [ 1 ] ** [2.27%] I Think I'm Ready [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]
September 2, 20168 yr Oops maybe I shouldn't have voted for 4. :kink: CTD, WAILF, NLTM and Pearl are all great and could've had amazing music videos.
September 2, 20168 yr I'd say that 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' is the only one left here with any sort of potential, still a fantastic song and definitely one of my fave album tracks, and this could have easily been a hit if released, but the 'TD' was perfect as it was and with 8 singles already released, this would have been overkill.
September 2, 20168 yr Hummingbird Heartbeat obviously. Also throwing a vote for the criminally underrated Who Am I Living For? though
September 2, 20168 yr Dressin' Up woulda been a great single but HH is also a good choice. A more leftfield single woulda been Not Like thr Movies but TD was the perfect campaign and woulda only have been improved with Dressign Up as a promo single.
September 2, 20168 yr I don't think all 3 songs should have been a single but voted CTD, HH and WAILF? as I would like them to progress to the next round.
September 2, 20168 yr 'Humingbird Heartbeat' is the only one left, that I could see as a single! As much as I adore 'Pearl', I couldn't envision that as a single!
September 3, 20168 yr Dressin' Up woulda been a great single but HH is also a good choice. A more leftfield single woulda been Not Like thr Movies but TD was the perfect campaign and woulda only have been improved with Dressign Up as a promo single.YES. "Dressin' Up" would have been the perfect wrap to the TD era, kinda as an epilogue to the amazing ride Katy had during those years of promoting the album and touring.
September 6, 20168 yr Gone for Not Like The Movies as it's the only one I really care for, it's a really nice ballad. Massive NO at Peacock
