September 10, 20169 yr Author Neil Claxton @MintRoyale 4h4 hours ago Gaga sold quite a lot more than Chainsmokers yesterday. Not amazing numbers though and her streaming will be bobbins. Neil Claxton @MintRoyale 4h4 hours ago Today's non-stan sales will be a real indicator of how it might do. Neil Claxton @MintRoyale 4h4 hours ago Finally we have some real album sales with Bastille and Nick Cave. Bastille has sold more on day one than last week's no1 did all week
September 10, 20169 yr Hoping for Sia and Gaga to debut top ten. That'd technically be the most interesting top ten of the year.
September 10, 20169 yr Looks like "One Dance" will become the first song to be top 10 officially whilst outside the top 40 on sales
September 10, 20169 yr Author Looks like "One Dance" will become the first song to be top 10 officially whilst outside the top 40 on sales There's nothing to suggest this will happen just yet...
September 10, 20169 yr Have doubts if Gaga will make the top 10 although I'd like her to. I imagine Sia has a better shot, if not we could be "blessed" with Lil Wayne & co. Nothing much of any interest other than to see how far the 6 new entries last week can/will climb.
September 10, 20169 yr Sia will probably debut top 10 easily. Ellie will probably fall out of the top 20. Gaga will be top 20. Zara will stay at around 30. Tove Lo *might* scrape the top 40. Bastille will debut with around 30K. My predictions :D Edited September 10, 20169 yr by cqmerqn
September 10, 20169 yr only 30K for Bastille would be quite disappointing, was thinking 50K minimum, with all the crazy R1 support they have sure Sia and Gaga will go top 10
September 10, 20169 yr There's nothing to suggest this will happen just yet... It's back up to #7 on Spotify and it's on the verge of falling out of the top 40 on iTunes
September 10, 20169 yr It's back up to #7 on Spotify and it's on the verge of falling out of the top 40 on iTunes It will rise tonight due to The X Factor!
September 10, 20169 yr The only thing I'm interested in this week is seeing how Teenage Fanclub do in the album charts. Their last album reached #30, but with sales declining since then, with their fanbase still constant, and with almost universally glowing reviews, I hope this one does a little bit better.
September 10, 20169 yr James Arthur is quite high up on iTunes but I have no idea how he will fare on streaming, so it'll probably end up in the 20-30 range at the end.
September 10, 20169 yr I still think he'll fall well short of the top 40. Black Eyed Peas & With You both cracked the top 10 on iTunes for a few days last week yet neither made the cut & I highly doubt James Arthur will pick up a glut of streaming. I think nowadays for a song which obviously has no/slow streaming it needs to be top 5 on iTunes all week to make the top 40 to compensate for the lack of streaming.
September 10, 20169 yr Sia and Gaga will definitely be in the Top 10 because they both have decent sales and good YouTube but Sia will be slightly higher due to YouTube.
