Lady Gaga song is awful and nothing to remember. More like Drake farting but she is no black so no chance to stay high and being played all over UK

 please reign it in, thanks.

Great stuff, thanks, that Jools Holland televised Performance on Tuesday night should give him a boost this week.

Kings Of Leon on as well - well worth a watch!

I actually really like Lady Gaga's new song. It's a bit different and reminds me of something Cher might do. Not sure if it will go top 10 as its already falling on iTunes and at low end of top 10 for streaming.
The Jack White CD was in HMV in Brighton on Friday.

Ok thanks - I can only assume Amazon have run out of Stock, a promising sign!

Is it just my impression or does the Albums discussion always generate a more mature discussion than the Singles?

The only thing I'm interested in this week is seeing how Teenage Fanclub do in the album charts. Their last album reached #30, but with sales declining since then, with their fanbase still constant, and with almost universally glowing reviews, I hope this one does a little bit better.

They performed on the Andrew Marr show this morning!

Emeli Sandé has a new song out on Friday so hopefully, she can succeed where Lady Gaga failed
Oh please no, the Chart has been so good (well not as bad) without her presence the last couple of years...

She isn't that bad...

All depends on the production.

Agree shes not that bad

The biggest problem was overexposure

Too muxh promo and too many collabs

The big break was much needed

But sure she aint as bad as Sam Smith

What a shit album name

Looks as though Sia might challenge for top 5, and I highly doubt Gaga will stay top 10. James Arthur looks a dead cert for top 40, though, assuming there's no data missing right now he could get a chart play at this rate :cheer:

Gaga staying top 10 is not actually impossible based on the sales figures so far, although it'll be easier to tell in tomorrow's update if we get it.

Oh there likely is the usual day of Spotify and Apple Music data missing :heehee:

KT Tunstall in the top 5, nice!

Hopefully Wild World manages a nice 35-40k total, wouldn't have expected it to reach Bad Blood's first-week number since that came off the back of 'Pompeii'

Slightly disappointing sales for Bastille in the Albums.

Not bad for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds though, looks like a guaranteed number 2 peak which will be a career best (also he will be on a upward trajectory of 4-3-2).

Top 6 Albums all new entries and 8 new entries in the Top 10 continue to make the Album chart the faster changing.
