September 16, 201610 yr Afternoon all! As always, NO SPOILERS please! Really excited for Sia and Ariana to hopefully go top 10 today, and I'm praying Gaga has made it but I'm thinking more #12-13 for her.
September 16, 201610 yr Afternoon all :hi: Mainly curious today to see where Lady GaGa has ended up! As for the retros, great number 1 this time last year! I think 'Sorry' has overtaken 'What Do You Mean?' as my favourite from the era now but both are very strong. The number 1 10 years ago was also magnificent  I miss the days of the charts featuring Scissor Sisters!
September 16, 201610 yr I can't believe it's coming up to 5 years since We Found Love. :o OT: Hopefully Ariana bags her first top 10 from DW this week. I'm guessing GaGa will be between #13 and #16 today.

The band is composed of brothers Caleb Followill (b. January 14, 1982, lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Nathan Followill (b. June 26, 1979, drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Jared Followill (b. November 20, 1986, bass guitar, backing vocals), with their cousin Matthew Followill (b. September 10, 1984, lead guitar, backing vocals). The band's early music was a blend of Southern rock and blues influences, but it has gradually expanded throughout the years to include a variety of genres and a more alternative, arena rock sound. Kings of Leon achieved initial success in the United Kingdom with nine Top 40 singles, two BRIT Awards in 2008, and all three of the band's albums at the time peaked in the top five of the UK Albums Chart. Their third album, Because of the Times, also reached the number one spot. After the release of Only by the Night in September 2008 the band achieved chart success in the United States. The singles "Sex on Fire", "Use Somebody", and "Notion" all peaked at number one on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The album was their first Platinum-selling album in the United States, and was also the best-selling album of 2008 in Australia, being certified platinum nine times. The band's fifth album, Come Around Sundown, was released on October 18, 2010. Their sixth album, Mechanical Bull, was released on September 24, 2013. A seventh studio album, WALLS, is set to be released October 14, 2016. The group has 7 Grammy Award nominations, including 3 wins. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 2003 53 Holy Roller Novocaine -EP- 2003 22 What I Saw -EP- 2003 23 Molly's Chambers -1- 2003 51 Wasted Time -2- 2004 61 California Waiting -3- 2004 16 The Bucket -1- 2005 24 Four Kicks -2- 2005 41 King Of The Rodeo -3- 2007 18 On Call -1- 2007 13 Fans -2- 2007 85 Charmer -3- 2008 01 Sex On Fire -1- MILLION SELLER 2008 02 Use Somebody -2- MILLION SELLER 2009 29 Revelry -3- 2010 07 Radioactive -1- 2010 69 Pyro -2- 2013 32 Supersoaker -1- 2013 31 Wait For Me -2- 2013 98 Beautiful War -3- 2016 xx Waste A Moment -1- Social Media http://i.imgur.com/sx7weFD.png http://i.imgur.com/P4ObJLe.png http://i.imgur.com/TUafYW0.png http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Discuss%20On%20Buzzjack.png

September 16, 201610 yr Kings of Leon could still grab a week in the top 40 at some point as its streams are picking up.
September 16, 201610 yr That Busted chart history *.* Adored the 'Year 3000' / 'You Said No' / 'Sleeping With The Light On' string of singles
September 16, 201610 yr So it seems James Arthur is not a national paria anymore over there in the UK. He has been performing all over Continental Europe all these years and even released some new tracks in a few European countries to some moderate success, in those years after the racial slurs scandal. How has his UK comeback been perceived? Edited September 16, 201610 yr by N-S
September 16, 201610 yr kinda hoping Busted haven't gone top 100 just so they don't ruin that perfect top 3 streak (and I'm not even interested in them enough to listen to the new song)
September 16, 201610 yr Can't quite believe it's been 15 years since my favourite song ever was released, the Rob Searle remix of Set You Free, taking the legendary song unexpectedly back to the top five there in 2001. An incredible track and remix <3
