September 19, 20169 yr 'one dance' in 9-17- shocker!!!  missing data or are people finally moving on? :kink: No missing data (he is on 80% streaming sales so far this week) but the gap to #13 is only a few hundred - he should easily get back to at least 13 by the end of the week but his Top 10 run looks to be over! At this rate he'll be out of the Top 10 by the weekend. [/Hadji]
September 19, 20169 yr You never rule out the streaming power of One Dance, it may indeed slip out the top 10 but I can't see it being any lower than #11.
September 19, 20169 yr I just listen to the new Sam Bailey album on Spotify. It's actually quite good and even has some lively tracks I wasn't expecting. Fair play to her going out and recording her own original album. Pity it's only no.26 so far.
September 19, 20169 yr Disappointed for Sam Bailey as its a good album,I hope it doesn't drop my h and at least go top 40.
September 19, 20169 yr It'd be ludicrous if they stayed #1 with all those new albums out Springsteen will surely do at least 15k and Bastille are only set to get 12-15k this week!
September 20, 20169 yr I'm hoping there's a chance for Hailee to sneak into the top 40 by Friday. She was #45 last week and her iTunes position has rose substantially this week (into the 70s compared to low 100s last week), and her Spotify streams just keep increasing!
September 20, 20169 yr 3 weeks will be a stretch too far, they'll have Shawn Mendes, Passenger and Bruce Springsteen to contend with! I'd forgotten about Shawn Mendes, I'm a big Springsteen fangirl but didn't have high hopes for him making number one, hopefully I'm wrnog though
September 20, 20169 yr don't forget Bruce's album is not a studio album but his 3rd or 4th Best Of... good thing it has some unreleased tracks so sure the hardcore fans will buy it... might even beat Shawn Mendes album, which I cannot see selling lots, but probably 12-15K will be enough for #1 next week
September 20, 20169 yr Bruce will probably be quite comfortably #1 next week, I would guess with about 20k-30k. Passenger could possibly hold on to the Top 5 and Shawn Mendes might go Top 10 (surprisingly, his album is not in the Amazon Top 100 - I know it's charting just on pre-orders but new releases that are going to be successful are usually Top 40 at this point).

September 20, 20169 yr James Arthur now looking solid at #2, and Calvin should hold onto #5! It's touch and go for Emeli holding onto the top 25 this week though, could happen but could easily miss out. Gaga now #44. One Dance #16, can't imagine it will get much higher (will definitely be out of the top 10 this week anyway)...
September 20, 20169 yr rooting for James Arthur to stay at #2 looks like Bastille will be lucky to do 12K and the #2 album will probably won't pass 7K :/ Edited September 20, 20169 yr by Bjork
September 20, 20169 yr Author Thanks Joseph, I was just about to shout out. I still can't believe it this time next week James Arthur could be in with a chance at the #1 spot. Who would have thought it :drama:
September 20, 20169 yr James Arthur was the 2nd best selling song of the last 24 hours, so it seems very likely now he'll keep hold of #2 especially as his streaming is now really kicking in (top 20 on Spotify). Seems very likely it will be a future #1 too.
September 20, 20169 yr I really want Ellie to get to number 10 this week. Is it possible? Number 4 on iTunes and increasing on Spotify
September 20, 20169 yr Meat Loaf is #9! I really want Ellie to get to number 10 this week. Is it possible? Number 4 on iTunes and increasing on Spotify Doubtful, I think #12 is looking more likely for her right now, but maybe top 10 next week? ALSO: we could be losing One Dance, Perfect Strangers AND Don't Let Me Down from the top 10 in one swoop :o The first two will almost certainly be out, and it seems to be a battle between DLMD and In the Name of Love for #10 this week, and currently Garrix has a higher daily sales figure.
September 20, 20169 yr I'm just pleased Maroon 5's '7 weeks at #2' record looks safe :cheer: On another note, despite the huge sales drop, position-wise that's a fantastic hold up for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, seeing as their last album went 3-23.
September 20, 20169 yr Sam Bailey dropping 3 places is a worry she will miss out on a top 40 position. Olly Murs is having a wonderful chart run but misses out on getting it to a top 10 hit status. Position aside, the single will have very good sales long term.
