September 19, 201610 yr Fabulous to see Ward Thomas looking to spend another week top 5 in the albums chart!
September 19, 201610 yr Lots of new albums out and Bastille are heading for a second week at the top. This is ludicrous It's only 2 weeks. If Bastille are still #1 in 8 weeks time, keeping off loads of new entries in the process, then's the time to get annoyed.
September 19, 201610 yr No AlunaGeorge in the top 40 albums? That is one of the biggest injustices of the year. Maybe they should have released when 'I'm In Control' was in the top 40. It is one of the best albums of the year, period. To see it flounder when sales are so tragically low is heartbreaking.

September 19, 201610 yr Haha easy mistake to make! :heehee: My fault for typing the wrong figure  I saw the figures and thought James has it in the bag this week
September 19, 201610 yr Go Shaky! 😁 Time for Shaky to deploy some of the tactics that gave Rick Astley's Album a boost: 1. He is appearing on "Lorraine" tomorrow to talk about his new Album. Not quite 'Loose Women' but he may get a chance to show off his dance moves/twerking... 2. Record store signing - all ready done one this week (in Cardiff). 3. One Show appearance - done. 4. Radio Support - may be a challenge that one. 5. Hard-luck story about CD's not getting to store - needs to come up with something similar.

Or simply just do an Olly Murs  ---- Emeli will probably scrape the top 30, Ellie might scrape the top 15 and I'd say that Calvin will stay at 5. Edited September 19, 201610 yr by cqmerqn

September 19, 201610 yr Oh Gaga please climb into top 40! Although it's going to be tough, maybe #45 come Friday
September 19, 201610 yr Author Top 5 singles look a bit fresh at the moment on the current mids, I think I have to agree with Joseph, James Arthur could be looking for a #4 placing with Calvin Harris at #5, glad to see Drake's single at #17, funny enough his album is also at #17.
September 19, 201610 yr Author Lots of new albums out and Bastille are heading for a second week at the top. This is ludicrous  I would be happy with an act staying at #1 for a second week, all the new album releases are pretty weak.
September 19, 201610 yr Bastille were always going to get 2 weeks at number one, I wouldn't be surprised if they make it 3 weeks
September 19, 201610 yr Good for James Arthur however the missing stream data will obviously go against him. Those album sales :drama: Cant believe Usher has not gone Top 5 seeing as he would need so little to do so and Sam Bailey flopping in at #26.
September 19, 201610 yr Bastille were always going to get 2 weeks at number one, I wouldn't be surprised if they make it 3 weeks 3 weeks will be a stretch too far, they'll have Shawn Mendes, Passenger and Bruce Springsteen to contend with!
September 19, 201610 yr 3 weeks will be a stretch too far, they'll have Shawn Mendes, Passenger and Bruce Springsteen to contend with! It'd be ludicrous if they stayed #1 with all those new albums out
September 19, 201610 yr If there is even only one new album out and its not going to no.1, I go on a bunny rabbit killing spree.
September 19, 201610 yr Skepta's album in a manner so abrupt, so unprecedented, and so ludicrous has climbed from #53 to #9. :o
September 19, 201610 yr 'one dance' in 9-17- shocker!!!  missing data or are people finally moving on? :kink:
