Omg, what an exciting top 5 we have there *.* I'd like to think James could hold on to #2, and Calvin can hold on to #5.

The first time in months the chart has actually been interesting.

that's an amazing start for Calvin! He could potentially keep the #5 position too as he's already got off to a great start on Spotify too.

and if it interests anyone, new entries in the top 100 from:

58. Tom Zanetti ft. Sadie Ama (You Want Me)

65. Years & Years (Meteorite)

77. Twenty One Pilots (Cancer)

96. Wiley (Can't Go Wrong)

98. Jax Jones (House Work)

James could hold onto #2 if he keeps increasing on both sales and streams like he is right now, although #4 is looking more likely currently. Calvin could keep #5, depends how he holds up and if Ari increases at all, but he's on track to remain there for the time being.
Lots of new albums out and Bastille are heading for a second week at the top. This is ludicrous

Either way, Calvin or Ari in the top 5 is better than Dying On My Own :,)

Are you genuinely complaining about the album chart? Two of the freshest weeks of the year have just passed and the singles chart is more interesting than ever yet you're complaining still :,)

SIDE NOTE - I think :,) is my new favourite thing

What on earth is ludicrous about an album having healthy sales for more than one week?

Hardly ludicrous, there aren't many major releases out this week.

I know it is a surprise to get a multiple week number 1 in the Album chart...

I don't have a problem with albums remaining at #1 when there's a lack of new entries but the point is that there's lots of new entries which could easily push it down. But on the other hand, at least they're not being kept at the top because of streaming

You've got Usher who is a major artist and Tinie Tempah could have been on his way to getting #1 album if he didn't postpone the release until January

You've got Usher who is a major artist

True but Album has sneaked out without a hit Single to promote it and previous 2 Studio Albums didn't get to the top either.

Not to be pedantic but...

(deleted) - that was a silly comment.

Oop, fixed!

I thought you had CS and JA the wrong way around and James was actually #1.
