September 17, 20169 yr I thought Sam would do well with her album but clearly not. She has album signings at HMV all week which will help - I streamed the album and it's surprisingly good.
September 17, 20169 yr I really hope AlunaGeorge chart decently with 'I Remember', although I'm not expecting them to :'(
September 17, 20169 yr I don't want Bastille hanging on to the top spot. Usher to dethrone them please
September 17, 20169 yr I don't want Bastille hanging on to the top spot. Usher to dethrone them please I know, 2 weeks at the top. What a chart hog.
September 17, 20169 yr I don't mind albums spending multiple weeks at the top, only on the condition that there's no new releases, not when there's loads of new releases and None of them can topple it Edited September 17, 20169 yr by Hadji
September 17, 20169 yr #5/6 is probably the ceiling, for james arthur's abomination, while it languishes outside the spotify top50 ~ still that's an incredible result for someone that washed up~ given the current state of churn at the top of the album chart, you wouldn't bet against a new #1~ :heehee: Edited September 17, 20169 yr by Ethan
September 17, 20169 yr It'd be nice to see James at #1 as I really like the song. He'd be the first X Factor male winner to get a post-win #1 if he manages it.
September 17, 20169 yr Eek. James decreasing on Kworb, looks as though that #2 isn't in his grasp after all :(
September 17, 20169 yr Eek. James decreasing on Kworb, looks as though that #2 isn't in his grasp after all :( I'm surprised he's held on as long as he has tbh, he's had an interview and 30 second clip shown on This Morning and minimal airplay.
September 18, 20169 yr My dad had Heart FM on in the car earlier and they are already playing James Arthur. I think he'll do just fine.
September 18, 20169 yr At this rate, James Arthur could be the first person to be #1 on sales while missing the top 10 officially
September 18, 20169 yr I don't think so, James Arthur is doing okay on streaming now (he's just outside the Spotify top 50) so I imagine top 10 this week is incredibly likely.
September 18, 20169 yr At this rate, James Arthur could be the first person to be #1 on sales while missing the top 10 officially At this rate, it looks like 2016 will break the record for least number ones At this rate every Hadji post will start with the words 'at this rate' or make ridiculous incorrect predictions like: On Friday, "One Dance" could become the first song to be top 10 officially while out of the top 40 on sales and vice versa for Sia One Dance was at 23 on sales, whilst Sia was at 14.
September 18, 20169 yr One Dance was at 23 on sales, whilst Sia was at 14. It climbed to #23 on sales because of X Factor Edited September 18, 20169 yr by Hadji
September 18, 20169 yr It climbed to #23 on sales because of X Factor But you said it on 7th September, which was after the X Factor?
September 18, 20169 yr But you said it on 7th September, which was after the X Factor? "One Dance" was actually used on 10th September's X Factor
September 19, 20169 yr I think it's in the bag for James Arthur this week! He's still too far behind on streaming. He'll be on the top 50 playlist; which will obviously help with the latter part of the week. However I reckon top 10/5 this week and then Number 1 next week. Chainsmokers will have built up too much of a lead on streaming over the weekend
