The total running time of this spinoff is around 3 hours and 17 minutes, or to put it another way, about 3 hours plus Fljótavík's entry :D (it's worth the full listen though!!)

 

Shall probably run a plug session for this at some time over the next 2 weeks for anyone who has the stamina for that. I don't think that's too much longer than a standard BJSC final listen through anyway!

Yup, check out... Fireflies from them, it's incredible. Been very excited ever since I saw this song in the mix.

I tend to really like instrumental tracks in BJSC in general but even so I am very impressed by the quality of this spinoff, I think there was only one song that I wasn't that keen on - just hoping that other people enjoy it as much as I did! <3

I'm only aware of the Ashton entry but it's really beautiful <3 looking forward to hearing the others.

 

My entry really is very unknown, it's from a sampler CD of a defunct website called Peoplesound which promoted unsigned acts in the early 00s so wouldn't be on Spotify or iTunes etc. I've loved the track ever since though, it was a bit of a year 9 soundtrack <3

I'm familiar with a few names here (self recycling Two Steps From Hell for myself was an option so glad to see one of them here!) and love what I've heard of them, this looks like it'll be a stupendous contest with lots of discoveries for sure <3
