New Lexico were on a roll this year but fail to advance this time, with a song about genitals. Poor hens. Skall also fail to qualify with a bit more of a wholesome song :kink: They faced a 15% deduction for voting late but would not have qualified even without it. 28 points for 28th is pretty cool tho. Perhaps it would have gone down better in semi 1? Anyway, no surprises to see 'Stanga' through as it's going down a storm in the odds, on plug.dj and a few have even admitted that it was a potential for them! With 'Free Tibet' and 'Aide' vibes about it, could it go all the way? Another banger makes it through as well, we go back to the 90s for loopy dance track 'Deep' courtesy of Land of DW!

I didn't really listen to Semi 2 (or rather, haven't yet) but I know that Deerhunter song! A real shame to see Skall DNQ, it's a great track. :(

Did ANYONE see Pupok's DNQ coming?! I could not believe it when I saw how low that finished. Especially as the last GIRLI entry was a top 5 hit! A huge shame to lose this one. We also expectedly lose FKA FKA FKA π following a 33% deduction with their rather funky entry. Good news however for both Ashton and Sandebörg who find themselves through to the final.
