With Mel C dropping yesterday i cant see her having a place in the top 20 on Friday now :cry:

Unlikely to get in Top 20 but still shaping up to be her third highest peaking Album (out of 7).

I was a little surprised to see she had a previous Studio Album that peaked as low as 57.

Its a big turnaround in position but i would also think she will outsell opening sales of her last 2 albums.

her last three albums (This Time, The Sea, Stages) all missed the top 40. The Sea was ok and got very good reviews but the other two were terrible (and Im a fan). This Time was preceded by a cover pf I Want Candy (enough said)... and Stages was an album of covers of songs from musicals I think...

Beautiful Intentions was Mel's last strong album in my opinion, i did not enjoy Stages at all. I purchased Version of Me and have yet to listen to it properly but from a quick listen it seems a good album.

'The Sea' is her best album for 'Burn' alone tbh.

I thought This Time was a lot better than Beautiful Intentions. The Sea was average, and I didn't bother with Stages.

Would love Mel C to stay Top 20 as she hasn't done so since 2003. But I guess despite a low sales climate the fact she's returning to the Top 40 at all is a huge achievement in itself as her last 3 albums peaked at #57, #45 and #50!
