This will do quite well, I can see it growing on me a lot tbh. It has that slow burner feel, I think it might also take a lot of getting used to because it's not what we expected from her at all.

It's never a good idea for us to post unofficial direct streaming links, but dnj.to is always a good place to check for the newest leaks - all the Friday releases always appear on Thursday as they get released in New Zealand before here.

Listening for the first time and this is SO gonna be on an advert over the festive period, isn't it?!

I REALLY like it though. Completely different not only for what I expected from her, but from any XF artist in general. VERY good. I can see this being a huge hit tbh. #1? Probably not. But I'm looking forward to seeing her XF performance of it.

This is actually great and much better than I was expected.

Reminds me of a mix of 'Here' by Alessia Cara, 'Dangerous Woman' and 'Hard Knock Life' strangely. Having said that it still has it own thing about it.

Her voice sounds great too.

Completely get those three comparisons!

I'm SO happy they went for this over a big pop ballad for her! Exactly what she needed.

It's a big hit in the waiting no? I think it could go top 5 this week with a good X Factor perf.

Quite like the song myself too, was fearing for the worst after the 'Dangerous Woman' comparison but it's better than that thankfully.

It's very good! Quite an unusual sound, and quite different to what anyone expected.

The violins at the beginning are really nice aswell.

I'm not surprised at the "Here" comparisons - that type of sound complements Louisa's voice the best. Really like this.
Well this is alright, very reminiscent of early noughties Pop (like Meghan Trainor's 'No') but lacking the catchiness of that particular song. It's not a bad proper lead debut but I doubt it'll be all that well-remembered in the long run.
I have given this a few plays to see if it grows on me and I'm still  about it - I guess I was expecting a bit of a club banger after the success of 'Tears' instead of a song that sounds like it was meant for a 1999 Samantha Mumba album.

Video:

The strings in the first 15 seconds or so really remind me of something from 'Dexter'

Great video too! So much star quality in her.

I still think this is sh!t but #20 is a good start for her, I'm sure Cowell won't accept anything less than a Top 5 though so we'll see how it does over the coming weeks...
