Ridiculous that Gifty's gone, such a huge shame, she outshone 4OD by miles in that sing-off :mellow:

 

He is one of the weakest singers in the contest. There isn't much about him, it's not like he is outstandingly good to look at either. He doesn't have it.

Actually ridiculous. The girlband is clearly not popular, so why save them AND Gifty is far better. And then don't get my started on the bloody lifeline vote and Ryan :mellow:

I respectfully disagree, I love his tone, he doesn't have the strongest voice but you don't need that to be a popstar. He also gave a great performance last night in my opinion and he absolutely deserved another week in the contest! I hope Nicole gives him something that can actually show off his potential as an artist next as I think that's been missing from his performances so far.

What a joke. So Nicole and Sharon both stood for Gifty and not 4oD but sent Gifty home!? How the hell does that make sense. And they couldn't even justify it!

 

As soon as Saara goes, I'm done. First Relley and now Gifty, it's like they want to alienate their audience.

That was utterly ridiculous but i'm not even mad or surprised in a way. It's just so obvious when someone like gifty or relley is bottom they'll send them home for the shock and the headlines and column inches. They keep rabbiting on about potential but it's week 4 and 4OD can't harmonise... It's ridiculous that just because Little Mix are slaying rn they're desperate for $$$ from another girlband.

How bad was 4oD's sing-off though? The two on the left sound so nasally, why do they even give them solos?

It all boils down to competition as Sabrina said... Sharon and Nicole gave her a standing ovation at the end of her performance, she probably was one of the strongest acts and decided to drop her, which gives better chances to Honey G/Saara and Matt in the later stages.

I'm sure Sharon and Nicole stood for 4 of Diamonds as well but it was a delayed reaction?

The guest performers really do continue to get worse and worse :(

I'd bet they were :drama: That's what pisses me off, if it comes out that Ryan was 3rd bottom each time then fair enough, it's justice I suppose and a fair vote, but the possibility that, whoever it is, someone could be 3rd from bottom and go over someone who was bottom is stupid. And they know damn well it's always going to be ryan who gets the flash vote :/

I think it was a closer sing-off that lots of people make out, just like last week. 4 of Diamonds gave their best performance by far, it was still a little shaky but they finished very strong with one girl taking the lead and the other three harmonising the backing vocals. I would've preferred Gifty to stay but I'm not outraged, and selfishly I know that 4 of Diamonds are likely to stay in the bottom 3 which means one less act to climb above Saara! :kink:

 

I imagine Ryan was last in the vote for the second week running and he should have gone by now, they need to ditch the lifeline vote immediately. Overjoyed for Saara, I had a feeling this afternoon that she may just survive it again. I thought that rather than be a Rachel Adedeji with two bottom twos, a week off and then elimination she might do an Only The Young who rebounded their sing-off with a sensational Monster Mash performance that gave them momentum for another 3 weeks or so. I think Saara will follow this trajectory and I can see her reaching the top 6 now which is incredible!

Utter joke. I thought of all people, if Gifty got more and more confident, she could have made her final and was one of the few acts that could give Matt a run for his money. I get that Simon gave her a shit song and why she ended bottom 2, but seriously, the sing off was amazing, and she has so much more potential than 4OD. Nicole and Sharon...shame on you.

 

Thrilled to see Saara staying another week. Glad it was more than just a one week rebound thing. She seems to be building quite a bit of support online from what I can see.

I still can't believe what Simon did at first when he was asked to vote. I remember in 2005 when he chose to send home his own act The Conway Sisters in favor of another act Chico

I'm actually more annoyed at 4OD than Ryan :lol: Fair enough if the app lifeline vote is part of the voting I suppose even though I believe it shouldn't be, with 4OD it just screams as close to fix as you get without actual vote tampering (manipulation I suppose). As I've said, I think Little Mix is spurring them to want another girl group but they need to realise there is no replicating Little Mix! There's no point in the sing off if they're gonna send home someone who pulls off a performance like Gifty's :/ I'm sorry but even looking objectively I cannot see who could believe 4OD gave the better performance, it was ropey af. I'm so fed up of them going on about their "potential" when they've been consistently average, and Gifty was right there with a huge amount of talent ready and waiting, a reliable performer. It's getting to the point where some of this so called potential is going to have to actually be shown :drama:

Has there been a week where Ryan and 4 of Diamonds missed the bottom 3? you just know even before the programme starts on Saturday that they will end up in the bottom 3. Those two must know deep down that they are just making up the numbers now.

Week 1 Ryan wasn't bottom 3, and week 2 when they arrived 4OD weren't bottom 3 :lol:

I really don't get why Gifty was sent home. She got given the death slot, with another Fifth Harmony song(?) and also a song nobody knew. It's concerning that someone with the talent and the edge of Gifty got sent home before the likes of Ryan, 4 of D and even Honey G. It's almost like Simon and the producers wanted her out? This flash vote is also the stupidest idea they've had and makes a mockery of people who have been spending money to ring up and vote. Even the bloody theme wheel thing is awful 😂

 

Maybe the producers already have an eye on who they want to win and Gifty was the one who was going to rival that.
