November 20, 20168 yr I can see Ariana being pulled in for the semi/final, especially due to the Little Mix support on her US tour. But other than her & Zara, I can't think of anybody else who's relevant enough, that XF haven't had on the show this year yet? Maybe Chainsmokers, but I'm glad they're not on it as 'Closer' needs to die asap. Busted do seem to be "scraping the barrell" a bit with Nathan Sykes, but like Dobbo mentioned, they have a couple of guest acts like this every year. Rihanna - I've not seen her do anything for a while promo wise, so I don't think she's up for promoting anything just yet, despite sending 'Love On The Brain' to radio (surely an XF performance of that in 2 weeks time?) Drake - Can't imagine him ever promoting. He seems to be doing just as well without promoting :lol: Weeknd - Similar reasons to Drake, really. Beyonce - Could've done something for her UK fans at least, but eh. She doesn't seem like she's too bothered in promoting, either.

November 20, 20168 yr I think they'll try for either Adele or Rihanna for the final but I can't see them getting both of them! Alongside a few of Little Mix, Michael Buble, Ariana Grande and Fifth Harmony as well as some irrelevant.

November 21, 20168 yr So so so pleased Saara made the top 5 without being bottom 2 this week. For someone who was bottom 2, in the first two weeks, it's incredible that she's managed to come this far. I think her votes this week, may have rested somewhat on her incredible performance last week more than anything but she did a great vocal this week too. Honey G will probably rebound meaning Saara will go in turn of someone who's not been bottom 2 before next week, but I am quite content with top 5 for Saara.

I was hoping for Adele and a performance of Water Under The Bridge tbh. Adele would be great! I'm not sure she would do it again this year though :(

November 21, 20168 yr The rebound won't be too big I don't think - she'll have to go from 5th/6th to the top 3 to ensure safety next week which is quite a big jump I think. Saara will end up 4th I expect unless Emily underwhelms? Although she'll likely now have most of Ryan's voters supporting her I guess, every little helps.
November 21, 20168 yr What is a "rebound vote"? A lot of people get a "bounce back" the week after they survive the bottom 2, it's been less noticeable this series I think but in the past it's definitely happened. At this late stage it's much more difficult to happen though.
November 21, 20168 yr Yeah the rebound vote gets less significant as time goes on, there's not a lot of room to move. I suppose how it depends how solid Emily, Matt and 5am are, I assume Matt has been top 3 the whole way through but if Emily has a bad week like Disco Week and Saara smashes it (which are both entirely possible) I think Emily could slip below Saara along with Honey G. I wouldn't be surprised if Honey G just stayed 5th, I do love her but it would be a total utter joke if she was to beat Saara in a sing off. What is a "rebound vote"? It's when an act bottom 2 one week and then because people know they're in danger so they're more likely to vote in theory, to stop them being there again. I suppose some people get a bit of fire from being bottom 2 and improve and seem to "want it" so people vote more too.
November 21, 20168 yr Oh I see. It's like when James Arthur was in the bottom 2 during the 2012 X Factor then recovered to eventually win the competition.
