Not Today: Kicking off the top #80 is the first of three 2016 releases remaining that missed my weekly top #10- two of them peaking at unlucky #11. And one of those was Imagine Dragons' Not Today, by far the best track they have done since their first album and is up there with their best! The song is taken from the movie 'Me Before You', one of my favourite films of 2016, and is a beautiful ballad and I've wept everytime it came on at the end of the film! The song entered at its peak of #11 and spent 14 weeks top 50 in its original run and it nearly made the top 10 on the last chart of the year after I saw the film again! Fight Song: After just missing the top 5 at the last second last year, Fight Song has one of the best holds from last years biggest hits as it stays comfortably top 100 at #79. Fight Song is still Rachel's best and is one of my favourite songs in recent years, it is such a beautiful and uplifting and inspirational track and I still go back to it regularly, I heard it on the radio yesterday and it was a massive moment for me! *.* The song actually didn't pick up any more top 10 weeks in 2016 but held on for another fab 18 weeks to see its total zoom even higher! This is the 3rd appearance from Rachel in 3 sections but it'll be a long time till we see her final appearance with Lone Ranger! Never Give Up: One of the most recent songs to make my top 100 comes in the form of the 1st of I think a gigantic 5 entries for Sia who has had a massive year in my charts! NGU nearly became her 2nd number 1 but was held off by Little Mix's monster hit Power! Never Give Up is a fab Cheap Thrills/The Greatest hybrid with nice verses and a chorus that kicks into action and I love the lyrics and the Bollywood-inspired backing track! Never Give Up secured Sia another hit as she peaked at #2 and the song spent 4 weeks top 10 and 6 weeks top 25 so far! When We Were Young: I do like this but I'm not sure I'd have it anywhere near this high, maybe not even in my top 100! I haven't gone back to it much since the first quarter of the year but this is a typical nice ballad from Adele which went top 2 here after lingering in the lower positions for a few weeks! The song spent 4 weeks top 10, boosted by her fab Brit Awards performance, and spent 12 weeks top 50! A typically nice ballad from Adele! Enough: Delta's final appearance comes from her 2nd top 2 hit 'Enough', which features Gizzle! Enough was instant love and the rapping verses were great while Delta's fabulous chorus soared and she sounds utterly incredible on it! I love how the song builds and the song peaked at #2 in my charts and spent 11 weeks top 50! I feel like it probably should've held on a bit better considering how much I loved it but this was another fab track from Delta! I See You: And Queen Idina Menzel stormed back into our charts again after she released another fabulous album for us this year *.* The lead single, I See You, was released when I was on holiday and so I discovered it when I got back and I loved it instantly! It is a fabulous inspirational ballad and Idina's vocals are stunning on it, also more restrained as well compared to the likes of Let It Go & Queen Of Swords! I See You scored Idina another top 2 hit and the song spent 3 weeks top 10 and 12 weeks top 50! Do It Right: If this countdown wasn't done on sales, this would definitely be a contender for my top 50, and my Spotify most listened tracks also saw this comfortably in my top 50 of the year! I ADORE this and it is by far my favourite Martin track nowadays! The production is fab and Tkay's vocals are stunning, giving one of the best vocals on a dance track of 2016! This scored both artists their first top 5 hits after peaking at #4 and spent 4 weeks top 10 and 14 weeks top 50! The song sold over 550k here and rly should've been a massive hit in real life :( Wild Horses: Birdy scored her 2nd top 3 hit of 2016 with the 2nd single from 'Beautiful Lies', Wild Horses! Wild Horses is also typical Birdy, a fabulous ballad with Birdy delivering as usual on the vocals! The song sold over 550k and spent 2 weeeks top 10 and 13 weeks top 50, and it held well between 11-20 for multiple weeks! I love this song and I am looking forward to it becomming an official chart hit next year <3 Army: Into 72nd and we have a NON MOVER from last years EOY, definitely a first! Army also failed to make the top 10 in 2016, stalling at #11, but held on for a massive 18 weeks and fell just shy of becoming a million seller. This was definitely one of my highlights from Delirium, one of the only few good tracks on that album, and is a fab ballad by Ellie with relatable lyrics! Me Too: And I think our first #1 to drop out comes courtesy of Meghan Trainor's hit but kinda non-number #1 Me Too, which is the 3rd highest Meghan song in this countdown and her other 2 hits both failed to reach the top of the charts. Me Too is a guilty pleasure jam but kinda got old quite quickly, still good fun to listen to though! The song went straight in at #1, spent 5 weeks top 10 and had a sharp descent down the charts as it only spent 9 weeks top 50!

First up is her breakthrough smash 'Be The One', which was nearly an Ultraviolenceland BJSC entry and is finally smashing in the charts well over a year after I fell in love with it! The song entered my charts near the end of 2015 and peaked at #4 in the first week of 2016 and held on well throughout the year and could easily be back for Round 2 in my charts soon if it continues to take off officially! Be The One is still my favourite Dua track and is still her biggest selling song here! Just. Into 65th we have follow-up single Last Dance where Dua shines on again and I love the production in the chorus! Last Dance eventually climbed into the top 10 to a peak of #7 and was very successful and hung around for 18 weeks! Move Your Body AND Unstoppable: A lot of similarities between Sia & Dua's double entries in this section as the lower one is also FINALLY getting a singles push in the UK and has re-entered my charts over the last couple of weeks! However both of Sia's tracks in this section are album tracks and not singles! First up is possibly my favourite Sia song of all time nowadays, the utterly anthemic 'Move Your Body' which completely EXPLODES in its chorus and ponders the question of why the f*** did Shakira turn this down?? MYB originally peaked at #11 before shooting up to #1 to finally become Sia's first #1 here (after having multiple top 3's with Chandelier, Alive, Unstoppable and then eventually Cheap Thrills and Never Give Up with none of them going above #2!). The song fell quite quickly but still held on for 15 weeks and sold lots for Sia! Going up to 62nd we have Sia's inspirational power ballad 'Unstoppable' which is another fab track from Sia and I love these kind of songs! The song spent 4 weeks top 10, peaking at #3, also spent 15 weeks top 40 with four random weeks spent at #27! Love Unstoppable and it is definitely one of my favourites from one of the albums of the year! Everywhere You Look: Carly's biggest hit of 2016 came from Netflix TV series Fuller House (which I really need to watch the 2nd part of!) and constantly watching the show for a few weeks meant that Carly's theme track had a very successfully chart run and spent 6 weeks top 10, with 2 weeks at its peak of #4! However I eventually finished the show so it fell quickly and only spent 4 more weeks top 50! EYL is a fun tune from Carly and I've gone back to it a lot throughout the year! Sexual: I quite liked this for a while, considered it for BJSC but passed on it and quite liked it when it eventually got sent to BJSC by Ryan but I completely fell in love with this over the last quarter of the year! The song debuted at #44 before shooting up to its peak of #4 the following week and spent 2 weeks top 10 and 11 weeks top 50 so far! Dyo's vocals are fab and I love the production, all in all a fabulous track and one of the best official chart hits of the year! Faded: And we have two back to back chart hits in a row as one of the best dance songs of last year thankfully turned into a massive hit. Despite only spending one week top 10 at a peak of #9, Faded held around for a very long time here by spending a massive 18 weeks top 50 in order to become one of the biggest dance hits of the year! I absolutely love the breakdown in production and Iselim's vocals on the song are utterly stunning. Deservedly massive hit <3 Last Dance: See Above. Team: I haven't really gone back to this too much over the rest of the year but this should have become a chart hit but everyone seems to hate Iggy nowadays :( Team is an utter jam and it was instant love, nearly becoming her first solo #1 here but alas it wasn't meant to be. The song peaked at #3 and spent 5 weeks top 10 and 14 weeks top 50 to become one of her biggest hits yet! I love this and yeah it really should've been a big hit! So Good: After featuring on Clean Bandit's fab Tears earlier in the year and being one of my favourite on X-Factor, I was heavily hyped for Louisa's solo debut and she sure did deliver with 'So Good', a fab pop track with relatable lyrics and it nearly became her first 1 here with sales of over 200k on opening week but Charli's mega-hit beat her to the top spot (and that weeks #3, Alma's Dye My Hair also beats Louisa here in the longterm). So Good entered at #2 but the busy market saw her fall quite quickly spending 2 weeks top 10 and 9 weeks top 50 so far! Unstoppable: See Above Guilty Flowers: After just missing the top 100 with follow-up hit 'Carry You Home', Ward Thomas just miss the top 60 with their biggest selling song here so far 'Guilty Flowers'! Guilty Flowers is a country anthem and I love the girls vocals and lyrics on this track! I sent this to BJSC Country and it scored a top 3 finish I think *.* The song sold over 620k here and peaked at #3 while holding on great as it spent 15 weeks top 50 so far! A great track <3
January 25, 20178 yr Author #51-#60 is coming up and it features the last two songs to miss my weekly top 10! Any predictions?
January 25, 20178 yr great to see Faded and Do It Right in your top 100, both are massive tunes, in my top 10  Have to agree DIR was unbelievably underrated.
January 25, 20178 yr Be The One [9.0] Move Your Body [9.5] Glad this got released as a single. Anyone in Buzzjack who can listen to the chorus of this song without getting up and dancing to it? Everywhere You Look [7.0] Sexual [6.0] At first I wasn't into this, because when I was in a Computing class and a Spotify playlist of hits was playing, a remix of this song came up and I was like "...". I confused the remix for the original, but when I took a closer look at the original, I was like "I quite like it". Faded [10.0] My favourite of the batch. Last Dance [8.5] Team [6.0] Me: *plays song on Spotify* *hears beginning* "Did she just recycle that lion roar sound from Harlem Shake? :o " So Good [6.0] Unstoppable [8.0] Guilty Flowers [8.5]
January 25, 20178 yr Do It Right in so many people's EOYs is fantastic to see, glad it got deserved appreciation. Be The One, Faded & Sexual all great songs too :)
January 26, 20178 yr The ones I've liked since I last commented are This One's For You Ain't My Fault - One of Zara's best. She had such an amazing 2016, I can't wait for her album now. Hair - One of the best videos of the year. Really improved the song 100% along with the addition to Sean Paul. Fight Song - Nice to see this is still here :D Sexual So Good - I wasn't a fan of hers on X Factor but this is brill.
January 30, 20178 yr Great to see Guilty Flowers here :music: My fave from their album! Faded is nice as well!
January 31, 20178 yr Author 51-60 probably coming tomorrow! Who do you think the last two non-weekly top 10 hits are from?! Not Today [8.0] Fight Song [5.5] Never Give Up [8.5] When We Were Young [8.0] Do It Right [7.5] Wild Horses [9.0] (Probably my favourite off the 80-71 batch) Army [6.0] Me Too [6.0] Thanks Dalek and glad your loving lots! great to see Faded and Do It Right in your top 100, both are massive tunes, in my top 10  Have to agree DIR was unbelievably underrated. Thanks Dan and yasss at both of them being in your top 10! Still angry DIR didn't smash  Be The One [9.0] Move Your Body [9.5] Glad this got released as a single. :o " So Good [6.0] Unstoppable [8.0] Guilty Flowers [8.5] Thanks Dalek! I still can't stop getting my life to Movw Your Body over a year on' such an anthemic anthem! Yasss at you liking sexual now and 10/10 for faded *.* <3 Do It Right in so many people's EOYs is fantastic to see, glad it got deserved appreciation. Be The One, Faded & Sexual all great songs too :) Thanks Dobbo! Glad you are lining quite a bit and DIR really deserves appreciation! Also loving BTO more than ever right now! The ones I've liked since I last commented are This One's For You Ain't My Fault - One of Zara's best. Thanks Robin! So excited for Zara's album, even if so good is the oposite of its total in terms of quality! Yasss at fight song love and Sean Paul really did improve Hair! <3 Faded being so high is great to see  Thanks Mdh and glad you love Faded! <3 Great to see Guilty Flowers here :music: My fave from their album! Faded is nice as well! Thanks Pete and glad your liking a bit, GF is probs my favourite form the album as well! <3

Katy Perry- Rise 643,550 | 3-4-4-7-20-24-23-28-28-35-37-41-X Rise: Katy returned to us after a couple years absence with this Olympics single which I loved but would probably have middle-low in rankings of Katy Perry singles! Katy's vocals soar and I love the vocals/production but she has such a high standard! This started pretty well, peaking at #3 and staying top 10 for 4 weeks but it kinda fell quite quickly after that! Thumbs: On Purpose got Sabrina her first hit here but she went to bigger and better places with the follow-up, the anthemic and explosive 'Thumbs'. This became Sabrina's first top 2 hit, just missing the top spot, and it held pretty well and has sold over 650k! I love the lyrics and the chorus really do explode with fab production and playful vocals/lyrics! Especially love the bit before the final chorus! Tilted: The first of the two songs to miss the top 10 in this section, we see Christine & The Queens fabulous 'Tilted' which shockingly also became an official chart hit! Christine's vocals are fab & I adore the video, everything about this song, and she performs this so amazingly every time! This was just outside my top 30 most played tracks of 2016 and I really wish it had made it that high here based on sales! The song peaked at unlucky #11 but held around forever with nearly 20 weeks top 50 and 10 weeks top 20! Hands To Myself: The Revival singles got better and better as the era went on and this just managed to outsell 'Good For You' here! The song oiriginally impacted quietly in January before turning into a full-fledged hit a couple of months later and HTM peaked at #5 for a couple of weeks and spent 5 weeks top 10! This has shifted nearly 700k here and I love the production and Selena's vocals. The 'I could but why would I want to' part is of course the highlight of the track *.* Hurt Anymore: This became my favourite Samantha Jade song immediately on first listen and this gave her a 2nd top 3 hit here after 'Shake That' in 2015 and her first ever number 1! The song was released in November and went straight in at #1 and spent 5 weeks top 10! Cyrus is good on this track but Samantha is the best part of course, I love how their vocals go together and I am a sucker for these kind of songs. This reminds me of Love Me Like You Do a lot and that is never a bad thing! Hotter Than Hell: Dua's next entry comes in the form of her biggest official chart hit in 2016, 'Hotter Than Hell'! Despite this spending just 3 weeks top 10, this spent 6 weeks between #11-#13! The song just missed the top 5 as it had 3 separate spells peaking at #6! The song hung around for nearly 20 weeks and I love the production and Dua's vocals and I'm glad this allowed her to breakthrough! Who Do You Think Of: And the biggest selling song to miss the top 10 this year was M.O.'s 'Who Do You Think Of' which thankfully became an official chart hit and unfortunately missed my weekly top 10 and peaked at #12 here! This, like Tilted, was just outside my top 30 most played tracks this year and I wish this was higher in my EOY! It took WDYTO 9 weeks to reach its peak at #12 where it spent 2 weeks and spent 8 weeks top 20 and a massive 20 weeks top 20 despite never going top 10! This is an utter girlband anthem with fab vocals from all the girls and I love the pre-chorus part the most! Scars: Tove Lo's only hit this year ended up coming from her soundtrack song to the crap Divergent sequel as her material this year unfortunately mirrored that film bar Scars! Scars is a fab movie track and I love how it builds into that fiery chorus and is in my top 3 Tove songs ever! Scars scored Tove Lo her second #1 and spent 6 weeks top 10 and 15 weeks top 50 and has sold nearly 750k! Love Me Like You: One of the biggest sellers of 2015 continued to shift the copies into 2016 as Love Me Like You now has a culmulative total over 3million sales, just! LMLY is still my favourite Little Mix song for reasons I've gone over many times before and the song kicked of the year at #1 and held on well in the first half of the year, before adding an extra 180k sales at the end of the year due to the fab Christmas Mix! A classic which I will continue to listen to throughout this year and watch out for the Christmas mix in my charts of course when its a lot nearer to Christmas! Dye My Hair: ALMA scored her breakout hit in my charts completely out of nowhere towards the end of the year with the kind of Dua Lipa-like track 'Dyer My Hair', which just misses my top 50 biggest sellers of 2016 here! Dye My Hair peaked at #3 and spent 6 weeks top 10 in 2016! I hope this can become an official chart hit but I feel like its kinda been and gone now :( I love the chorus and ALMA's vocals on the track & the production is fab!
