December 11, 20168 yr Hmmm...good for him but I'm disappointed for Saara, it feels like the last page of the 'story' is missing for her. That said, I thought he'd win from his very first audition! 2nd again after The Voice Finland and two Eurovision attempts for Finland oops. Never mind, it's absolutely incredible for her to be in the final after her start and I hope there's enough goodwill towards her for her to have a UK career. I can't really see her scoring many hits but she might be a big TV personality or West End star. Matt will do pretty well I'd imagine, a consistent career of middling hits perhaps. And this winner's song was obviously meant for him  A Christmas song though, going for that two weeks and bust chart run! They must be desperate for that Xmas no.1 ey! I'm not sure Saara chose the songs. I imagine the producers/ Sharon working on behalf of the producers did, meaning for Matt to win. Why else would the song choice be so different in quality?
December 11, 20168 yr Missed this series but I watched the end of the result show out of curiosity after LM performance, and oh my god what is this winner? Never heard him before before but his voice is pretty poor and that song is atrocious. Ugh.
December 11, 20168 yr Pfft why do the British public insist on voting for these bland mo fo males when they all inevitably flop?
December 11, 20168 yr That's the best winners single since THE BEAST for sure I can only assume you mean Cannonball.* * *blocks it out*
December 11, 20168 yr The X Factor are so f***ing thirsty for that #01  Ed Sheeran written ✔️ Mention of Christmas ✔️ Sympathy for Charity ✔️ How embarrassing.
December 11, 20168 yr Yes it's not a bad track at all actually, I'm unsure as to whether it will take off on streaming but it's certainly the strongest choice for a few years.
December 11, 20168 yr The X Factor are so f***ing thirsty for that #01  Ed Sheeran written ✔️ Mention of Christmas ✔️ Sympathy for Charity ✔️ How embarrassing. i think they are WAY past that point
December 11, 20168 yr Really gutted that Saara didn't win as she really was the best tonight :( But at least the winner's single is decent.
December 11, 20168 yr The X Factor are so f***ing thirsty for that #01  Ed Sheeran written ✔️ Mention of Christmas ✔️ Sympathy for Charity ✔️ How embarrassing. I really don't understand it - they'd get more money from higher sales! Hooweverrrrrr after last year's flop I imagine they are tryna prove the show isn't in terminal decline and don't want another 9 flop.
December 11, 20168 yr I'm sad Saara didn't QUITE manage to clinch the win, but I'm happy for Matt. They were the best two of the series by FAR for me, so definitely the correct top 2. I like that they've gone for an original song. A Christmas one at that too, so then they can move past it quickly and it doesn't matter if it will have a 19-8-56-OUT chart run.
December 11, 20168 yr Its a decent Xmas track, but it will tank when Xmas is over in Week 3, it still has to get to #1 first.
December 11, 20168 yr It's a shame Saara didn't win but I liked Matt still so I can't moan really, well done to him. Really like the winning single too!
December 11, 20168 yr I actually really like them both, but I was hoping for a Saraa win to piss off the Daily Mail-esque folk.
December 11, 20168 yr Yes it's not a bad track at all actually, I'm unsure as to whether it will take off on streaming but it's certainly the strongest choice for a few years. Most on Digital Spy are saying it's rubbish, boring as hell.
