December 9, 20168 yr This is one franchise that just never really properly appealed to me. The additios of Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren are rather exciting but this is still probably one of my least hyped blockbusters of 2017. I think cars have just never really been my thing, still excited for the trailer though!
December 9, 20168 yr Monday?? The trailer is launching on the 11th! Can't wait for this though, easily my most anticipated of 2017.
December 13, 20168 yr After saying I'm not the hyped after Furious 7, this already looks way better. The addition of Charlize Theron was a great decision and she is so watchable and I'm sure Helen Mirren will be great to watch too, excited to see the first glimpse of her soon. Love how the action scenes just get crazier with every film though, last one had a cars jumping out of a plane and now they're being pursued by a submarine?!? Looks like it'll be a fun popcorn movie at least :D
January 22, 20178 yr I don't know how long they can go on with this franchise, and its going to feel pretty strange without Paul Walker, they should have ended it with 7, I just wish they give it closure now. Don't get me wrong, I love all the Fast movies apart from the second one, but this movie does have someone missing, it just won't be the same, and now they adding Jason Statham to the regular team.
January 22, 20178 yr Yeah i'm really uncertain about a post-Paul Walker franchise. It doesn't feel right although the fact that Michelle Rodriguez is still involved makes me feel better. And technically he wasn't in the third either.
January 22, 20178 yr Fast and THE Furious - have they changed the title? I have never watched this franchise (would like to someday as it sounds like a fun film) but musically I hope Wiz Khalfa returns to the soundtrack with another We Own It, one of the best hip hop songs ever imo. The instrumental  . See You Again was a MAJOR let down after that.
April 7, 20178 yr this one is so hyped here in US and I am assuming everywhere else...probably will do as same as previous one in box office...another 1 billion in total :o
April 7, 20178 yr Author I can see this opening huge, but having not as much staying power as previous films. I can see this being a bit more silly and getting average reviews. The last few had decent-good reviews so probs had people going back more.
April 10, 20178 yr It has had mixed reviews from various critics. From it being worse than 2 Fast 2 Furious to very good.
April 17, 20178 yr I've only seen Furious 7 from this series and I actually found that kinda dull but this is anything but that, it's bonkers!! The characters are all fab (aside from Vin Diesel who I don't like in these films), The Rock and Jason Statham being my highlights for their one liners and amazing prison breakout scene! Charlize Theron was a wicked villain too, some really dark scenes and she had terrifyingly cold eyes. I hope she can be back for future sequels! Helen Mirren was a huge scene stealer too, wish she was in more than 2 scenes :( I think my favourite moment was a baby carrier being incorporated into Jason Statham plane heist action scene

It packs an emotional punch. I did really enjoy the 8th film, but it's not as good as some of the more recent entry. Some of the stunts are amazing (my personal favourite is the zombie cars). I mean my one grip is Statham killed Han, but this is barely mentioned at all. But that's only a minor thing really. I really liked all the new cast additions, thought Scott Eastwood's character was great. And the highlight was obviously The Rock and Statham's double team up. Solid entry in the franchise. Interested to see where they go for 9 and 10 now. I feel like they kind of need to kill one of the main cast off in the next film (though my feeling is it will probably be Mr. Nobody).
April 17, 20178 yr Author Really found it average. I get that it's just "popcorn filler" for most people, but they've never really appealed to me. 5 & 6 were my faves. I will say this though, the prison breakout scene is one 9f my favourite scenes from the entire franchise. The back and forth verbal abuse from both Dwayne and Jason was great and the actual scene itself is done really well. Charlize was a good baddie and Helen Mirren swearing was funny!
April 19, 20178 yr This one was nothing short of amazing. 11/10. Stratham and Johnson's going back-n-forth and eventually forming an unlikely friendship. Tyrese and Luda never fail to amaze for comedy, there were so many laugh out loud moments. Charlize was sexy as ever and played villain so flawlessly.
