December 23, 20169 yr OCC seem to be having teething problems, to the right of their site, they have the new chart, but when you click that link, that returns you back to the old chart... for now just have to rely on the top 40 chart from Radio 1... Most of those Xmas tracks that have charted, are most likely going to drop a fair bit next week, to make way for a large wave of returners of old chart music. :nocheer:

I know download sales aren't great, but I'm absolutely gobsmacked that Robbie's 'Love My Life' (#10 on sales) is only at #53. :o It would be higher on a normal week, but all the Christmas songs being streamed heavily get in the way. He'd still miss the top 40 though which is awful for a top ten sales hit, but that's how poor downloads sales are now.

I know download sales aren't great, but I'm absolutely gobsmacked that Robbie's 'Love My Life' (#10 on sales) is only at #53. :o Yeh there's a lot of Christmas songs in the top 100 I didn't realise would be there - the amount of different versions of songs and streaming plus downloads makes it difficult to judge until you see the chart - great to see Coldplay, The Darkness, Ariana, Leona and others all in there!

December 24, 20169 yr On the Santa Baby front - Kylie got to 77 on the OCC just one place below it peak. Although I note Eartha Kitts version is top 90 so combined it would be nearly top 40. The sales chart reveals that the Christmas songs are just doing the usual on there with Mariah at 16, Pogues just behind and Wham just top 40 with previous weeks peaks for Chris Rea, Wizzard etc!
December 24, 20169 yr I know download sales aren't great, but I'm absolutely gobsmacked that Robbie's 'Love My Life' (#10 on sales) is only at #53. :o Robbie has been a consistent seller for a few weeks now and has been iTunes Top 10 all week - for it to not even make the Top 50 this week is a joke, I'm all for streaming but time and time again it goes against certain acts.
