December 31, 20168 yr There really aren't many songs worse than Mr Brightside. So hoping it doesn't make a return to the top 40 :puke2:
December 31, 20168 yr Mr Brightside barely made a dent on the chart on its release - falling something like 10-26-38-OUT (of the top 40) - it is amazing how popular it is considering. (I do love it, personally)

(I do love it, personally) It was also released in 2004 as well. But the albums sales made up for the 4 week chart run. 4 weeks wasn't overly terrible for a indie track in the front loaded chart days either!
December 31, 20168 yr 42. Tony Evans - Auld Lang Syne Auld Lang Syne reached #29 last year, I assume what with the lower sales climate it'll reach slightly higher this year :D
December 31, 20168 yr Author Mr Brightside is a bit of a student staple, it comes on at a student night and everyone sings along and does the actions for the song. It was like that when I was a student 7 years ago and still is now apparently.
December 31, 20168 yr 'Mr Brightside' is the single greatest song of all time, for me. It has never gotten old for me and it's such a moment whenever it's played. Whether you play it on your own accord or (more specifically) in the club on a night out etc.. I understand it rising due to being 59p, but why is it top 50 on Spotify? Is it just because it's end of the year and being played at parties and on playlists?
December 31, 20168 yr I understand it rising due to being 59p, but why is it top 50 on Spotify? Is it just because it's end of the year and being played at parties and on playlists? it's featured high constantly on some popular playlist (can't remember the specific playlist though, sure someone else can help me out with that! :D), meaning it's usually between 50-100 all the time. It's reached #51 a couple of times in the last few months but this is the first time it's cracked the top 50! ^_^
December 31, 20168 yr 8 Robbie Williams - Love My Life Come on Robbie! This has shown amazing staying power.

December 31, 20168 yr 8 Robbie Williams - Love My Life Come on Robbie! This has shown amazing staying power. I'm only just listening to it for the first time - but the remix of it by Adam Turner & James Hurr (apparently released on 16th December) - which is really good actually! Still haven't heard the normal version.
December 31, 20168 yr Still haven't heard the normal version. Save yourself the torture and don't bother ;)
