Another year done and it's time to unveil the new Top 100 for the decade over the next 12 days!

The charts covered here are 16.01.10- 05.01.17 and the format will be:

POSITION, TITLE, ARTIST, MOVEMENT THROUGH THE DECADE, SALES, TOTAL SALES (T/S) IF RELEASED PRE 2010.

Thanks to Youtube, MW, Vidcapper, and some other sources!

Doesn't seem like 10 minutes since the last edition! :drama:

I suspect

Bob Marley's Legend

has sold enough in the past year to break into the Top 100 of the decade.

The year has been "poor" for sales without doubt with no new albums released in the year making the top 100 though we do have three new albums in the rundown! There's plenty of movement however with 62 fallers, 18 non movers and 17 going up!
Yay, I have been waiting for this! :cheer:

No significant losses then  Hoping to see Bastille's Bad Blood make an appearance!

i suspect the new entries will be Coldplay and Little Mix Get Weird. I do wonder if Beyoncé has made it with Beyoncé. If not she can't be far off.
I joined Buzzjack around the time you did this last year - has it been 12 months already? :o

Shame about Echoes falling out but it is no surprise. Will isn't really an artist that benefits well from trickle sales unlike some others.

100. #3- The Script (83-94-97-100) 537,800

99. THE XX- XX (37-59-70-72-83-95-99) 560,200 (T/S 603,100)

98. III- Take That (93-98) 562,900

97. GREATEST HITS- Westlife (50-51-65-73-90-97) 566,800

96. LES MISERABLES- Original Cast Recording (82-88-92-96) 570,000

We start of the rundown with a few boybands who must be on their way out of the chart next year, Take That & Westlife. Take That and The Script are two of 24 acts with at least 2 albums on the rundown but that won’t be repeated next year either, Westlife meanwhile are one of only 14 albums on our list that old less than 10,000 copies last year.

95. A DECADE IN THE SUN- THE BEST OF- The Stereophonics (85-93-91-95) 583,200 (T/S 1,321,200)

94. NUMBER ONES- Michael Jackson (xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-100-94) 588,500 (T/S 2,417,500)

93. TIME- Rod Stewart (64-69-84-93) 598,000

92. ONLY REVOLUTIONS- Biffy Clyro (26-39-49-59-71-87-92) 604,900 (T/S 728,700)

91. MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY- Rod Stewart (71-62-68-81-91) 605,300

Double Rod here but his Christmas set certainly isn’t selling as well annually as Buble for some reason. Strong improvement for Michael Jackson however who is taking the slow and steady route with his 14 year old GH set, meanwhile the GH set for Stereophonics cooled last year after a good 2015, in peaking at No 21 this decade it is the lowest peaker on the survey with Jackson having peaked only 5 places higher since 2010.
