Ed is on radio1 now and he said that Shape Of You was for Rihanna! And he kept it as a secret from his label and that was the last song he did for the album and the label loved it and now they release it. The second song is from 2015 and the oldest for this record.

Is it likely to change in the UK or is Shape of You the standout lead single?

I'd expect it to stay this order, Shape Of You sounds more current / relevant to the charts right now.

Ed Sheeran delivering once again! I prefer Shape Of You at the moment but both songs are good.

Yes they both are. They are full releases not grats for buying the album.

On first listen I prefer castle on the hill it does sound more like an ed song whereas shape of you sounds like him keeping with the current trend which not necessarily a bad thing
